Lately, Sakura and Hinata have been a big topic of discussion. They are always being compared, whether it's who can defeat who, who is prettier, who is more compatible with Naruto, etc. Well this thread is to bring to your attention, the difference between the two. For all of the Sakura fans out there reading this, please understand this is not a Sakura hate thread. It is simply to clarify why, I feel and most likely many others, Hinata is more likable then Sakura.
For starters, it is obvious that since the beginning of the series, Sakura has feelings for Sasuke, as Hinata has feelings for Naruto. Both of which, continuously struggled to gain their attention. The difference is, they both went about in complete different ways.
Sakura has always rubbed off as very clingy and annoying. Being a part of team 7, on a team with Sasuke, she has had plenty of chances to try and prove herself to Sasuke and gain his admiration. Instead, the majority of time was spent from the sidelines, watching Sasuke. To put it simply, she was a nuisance. It was because of this reason, she never gained Sasukes approval and was forever chasing him, all in the end, being in vain.

Hinata in the other hand, took every opportunity she could in order to get Naruto to notice her. She fully grasped his words and turned them into means of motivation. Hinata knew Naruto was watching, she knew it was finally her chance to earn Narutos admiration. She could of easily have given up but instead took the opportunity and was willing to throw her life on the line just so Naruto could notice her and to make him proud.

Sakura and Hinata both had their chance to confess their love to Sasuke and Naruto. The difference was Sakuras was very desperate and sudden in order to keep Sasuke from leaving the village. While Hinatas was very sincere and love felt while sacrificing her own life to save Naruto.
I understand that Sakura was in a complete different situation then Hinata, but she was literally about to throw her life away; Abandoning the village, her family, Naruto, Kakashi, all for the sake of Sasuke. The thing is, Sasuke was on the path of evil, and she new it. You think she would of realized maybe there was no hope for Sasuke? Especially when she has been putting Narutos feelings for her aside this whole time.

Regarding all of you who believe Naruto should end up with Sakura... From a real life standpoint, Sakura is, sorry to say it, a bitch. She did nothing but hurt Naruto, she doesn't deserve to be with him. To be quite honest, she deserves to grow old and live life on her own in a single apartment building with 15 cats. I believe it is perfectly understandable why Sakura receives so much hate.
Reasons:
After Sasuke left the village, Sakura immediately went to Naruto for help. She selfishly put the burden on retrieving Sasuke on Naruto for her own personal needs. Never did she take Narutos feelings to account.

It took until part 2 for Sakura to realize all the pain she has caused Naruto, however she went about it the wrong way. How could she possibly think by falsely admitting that she likes Naruto would fix all the problems she has caused. It was extremely cowardly for her to lie to Naruto like that, and if anything it made things worse.

I could of probably went more in depth in my reasoning, but hopefully I made it pretty clear to why Hinata is more likable. And just to remind every NaruHinata fan/hater
