Very good find, even though it hadn't been proven, but it would explain how he teleports without markings. +rep for the thread!

I understand it like this: Obito can use his Kamui to pass through matter, or to absorb matter,
but when he uses it to teleport somewhere, he needs Zetsu's spores. I think it will be revealed in the manga.

Obito surviving the boulders with Kamui? Well Kamui has to do something on its own. Does not mean that Senju cells did not grant him intangibility or teleportation! Or the entirely separate dimension!

Like I said, Obito might find his targets thanks to Zetsu, but his Kamui still allows him to teleport to any place he wants to. That technique just works that way, Senjuu DNA has nothing to do with it.
