okay i have a simple theory about devil fruits !! and it's kinda related to the moon theory and the history of all things !!

we all know that devil fruits give you some kinda of weird power a power wich is defeated by the power of the sea !!!

have you guy's noticed that none of roger pirates has devil fruit power ?? not his first mate and not even shanks
and not even his closest friends !!! garp !!

roger had the abilty to hear all things maybe even the devils !! as it related to the latter D the only people who can listen to all things yet not every one of them has realised it yet !! roger was known for his mercy !! and loved to help people !! and like to make alot of promise's !! i know this might sound wierd but plz bear with me ^_^

so the devils are living things !! roger could hear them and they feel pain so they noticed that roger can hear them and they asked for his help so he promised to help them and the only way to set them free is destroying the moon !!
with the three ancient weapons !!!

but he couldn't help them and failed to keep his promise and for that he Surrendered and got killed but he didn't lose hope !! his last words was that his Treasure is in raftel knowing full well that to find raftel you need the power to hear all things ! and the one who will find it will help the devils and some how blackbeard figures out the power to hear everything cuz he's one of the D's a and will try to stop luffy so he can keep his power
i know this might sound dumb but go easy on me plz ^_^

He didn't when he enlisted with the roger pirates ; he attained them by accident.

Interesting.... FYI I think Gabban and Roger had devil fruits.
Gol D. Roger = Yami Yami no Mi
Scopper Gabban = Kidds fruit

THANKS ^_^ idon't think that roger had a devil fruit and if he had it ...white should have known it's power when he fought teach !! insted he was surprise when his attack didn't work ^_^

Well he actually does. As evident when he was willing to tell the SH's everything (about OP and even the Void Century). Until Luffy went mental and completely raged when he said he'd rather not be a pirate than knowing about OP. Also Robin refused to know what the Void Century is.
