No, this is not a thread regarding the final battle. This is thread about why I personally think it will be the final and most important battle in the manga. I do hope that you will read it out before you comment on it, or else I will waste a decent amount of time to write this..:eww: Anyways, lets get started. To tell this theory, its better if I talk a little bit about the start of the timeline in this manga first. Starting with the Rikudou Sennin, Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki himself. As of the later chapters, we were given a name and a partial origin story for this mysterious Sage. The story told about how humans were granted Chakra through the Shinju after Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's mother eat a fruit from the tree. We also was told that Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki himself was the first human to be born with chakra and that he was born with the Rinnegan. We also know that the Shinju became the Juubi as a result of what Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's mother did ( eating the fruit of the tree ). The rest we already knew long ago, that Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki defeated the Juubi in battle and sealed the beast within himself, becoming the first jinchūriki in existence.
Now from this tale, there are three things I would like to point out. The two are rather obvious really as the are Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki and The Juubi/Shinju. The third however is a little off for some people, the third thing I would like to point out is Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's mother, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Now that is said, I will go a little away from this subject and talk a little bit about how Kishimoto likes to tell his stories, based on this manga.
Its no secret that Kishimoto likes to repeat himself throughout a tale. We've seen this numerous times in this manga, and a lot of the plot is build upon that. Take Sasuke and Madara for example, or Naruto and Hashirama. Team 7 and Team Hiruzen, the list can go on but I hope that you get my point. Now, I've said that, I can go back to the actual theory.
Since the Naruto Timeline started with the Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's battle against the Juubi, I think it will end in the same manner, only with Sasuke, Naruto and the Shinobi World. The theory I posted above is a great example to what I mean, and that is that Sasuke and Naruto are the incarnation of Yin and Yang, two forces who are completely opposite but neither can exists without the other. I see Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki and the Juubi in the same way. Let me explain.
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki eat the fruit of the Shinju, creating the Juubi. She also gave birth to a son, creating Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. So in a term, Kaguya Ōtsutsuki created both of these two opposite forces. Neither the Juubi or Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki would exist without kaguya Ōtsutsuki and they can be looked at as her "creations". Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki was looked as like the Light of the world at the time, while the Juubi was looked on as the Darkness of the world at the time, they were Yin and Yang created from the same source. Now what does this have to with Sasuke and Naruto you ask? Well its actually quite simple, as the story of Naruto and Sasuke is quite the same thing.
Sasuke and Naruto are both the result of the current Ninja System and world that they live in. They are just the opposite to each other, like Yin and Yang. Neither of them would have existed without the other, and Naruto has commented this many times in the Manga. Let me point out three things again for you. Naruto and Sasuke are obvious again, the third this time is the Shinobi World/System. What defined the two opposite forces and made them who they are, that is the Shinobi World/System, same as Kaguya Ōtsutsuki shaped and formed the Juubi and Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki.
Now the first exception to who equals who would be this:
Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki = Naruto Uzumaki
The Juubi = Sasuke Uchiha
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki = Shinobi World/System
Though I think this is faulty and wrong, I think Kishimoto swapped the roles into this:
Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki = Sasuke Uchiha
The Juubi = Naruto Uzumaki
Kaguya Ōtsutsuki = Shinobi World/System
Now, many of you Naruto fanboys will probably rage as I said that Sasuke was the equivalent to the Sage. But let me explain before you go ahead and post a rage comment.
The Juubi was "born" from the Shinju as a Tailed Beast and Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki was born from Kaguya Ōtsutsuki as the first human with natural chakra control, and more importantly with the Rinnegan. Naruto was born from the Uzumaki bloodline which is connected to the Senju and the strongest of the Senju was Hashirama Senju who could preform Mokuton naturally. Mokuton, by many has been seen as a connection to the Shinju and that the Senju or more specifically Hashirama has Mokuton because of the Shnju. Upon Naruto's birth, a Tailed Beast was sealed within him, creating the Juubi part of the Shinju. Sasuke was born into the clan with the ability to awaken the Rinnegan same as the Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki, this can equal the non-human part of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki gained from the Shinju and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. So it would be like this:
Uzumaki are related to the Senju and the Senju can equal the Shinju part of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. Naruto also have had a Tailed Beast within him since his birth, this can equal the Juubi.
Uchiha are the clan with the ability to unlock the Rinnegan, the eyes of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki. This equals the spirital or non-human part of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki and his family. Besides this, Sasuke is like anyone else in the term of humanity.
Now lets compare our marks again
Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki was born as a normal human, besides the fact that he was born with chakra and the Rinnegan.
Sasuke Uchiha was born as a normal human, besides the fact that he had Sharingan and the ability to unlock the Rinnegan.
The Juubi was born as a Tailed Beast from the Shinju, a tree of immense power.
Naruto Uzumaki was born as a normal human, only a Tailed Beast was sealed within him and he has a bloodline connection the the Senju of the Forest, which my many have been guessed to be connected to the Shinju.
Naruto and Juubi carry the same origins and basic traits.
Sasuke and Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki carry the same origins and basic traits.
Now if this was the case, wouldn't Naruto be dark and Sasuke be light? I don't think so, and the manga clearly state otherwise. Think about the Juubi, the creature didn't want war or hatred. It wanted to left alone, in peace. Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki wanted to stop and remove the Juubi from the world in order to create peace and a new system. Naruto seeks peace by himself and with his fellow friends, Sasuke seeks peace by destroying the Juubi and to change the Shinobi System.
Conclusion
Sasuke and Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki seeks the same thing, they have the same traits. Naruto and the Juubi seeks the same things and they carry traits that are alot alike each other. That is why the final fight will happen, Kishimoto is repeating the same story, all he's done is to flip the two main points of the story. Hatred and Peace.
