maybe madara know about hashi being evil but no one Believed him and he started to hate hashi and clan and village :ice:

That would be impossible, coz you see you can't be accepted by your enemy clans if your evil, create a village, protect it, make a admirable student (Hiruzen), save the village from 9tails attack, sealed it inside a uzumaki girl and married her for the sake of village...
Hashi's good deeds outweighs your predictions of being evil..:shrug:

Madara is what you would call an arrogant, power lust and paranoid leader. He got greedy and took it personally.

yeah, it was personal for Madara, there is no doubt about that. your clan choosing somebody else must hurt real bad... that explains his anger towards the Uchihas, it does not explain his hatred towards Hashirama. His jealousy is justified, his hatred isn't. U_U

(*maybe I am taking this too literally, but all I am saying is, unless Madara is an emo kid like Sasuke, he would need more reason to hate someone so much, you know what I mean?)

Madara constanly stood up against his Wood Style too... there shouldn't have been a problem in making him the first Hokage. Jealousy has it's place, Madara admires him too... but the way he says "...don't ever mention that shinobi's name in front of me" he's spitting hatred (*or maybe I'm seeing to much there...)

Constantly going against wood style itself is not a prerequisite for Hokage. And Madara's hatred is coz of his own clan turned against him and choose Hashi. And the true hatred started then only. And do you like your enemy to be spoken high infront of you? No...:shrug:

Madara just has lots of hate and jealousy, it's not because of anything The First did... i don't see it. i see Hashi as a lover of peace. Thats how Tsunade describes her grandfather as well, a man who united the clans in order to establish peace. he even distributed the Bijuu out of fairness! Madara would've hogged them all and ruled the world. Hashi was a good dude

Also if u notice Madara respects Hashirama a lot and always considers him as his rival. I dont see perticular hatred for Hashirama in Madara. Plus Madara lost everything (actually he abandoned, but i m looking from his POV) bcos of Hashirama, so its natural for him to hate him plus jealousy gives rise to hate too. Plus u wld notice most Uchiha's take things to the extreme there is no middle grounds for them.

But i will say that Hashirama is light gray, none can be perfect. But i dont think Hashirama cld ever been particularly evil.

he was in an era of war, he fought many times against enemies, i wouldn't be surprised if in the battle his blood lust got overhand and simply did something like razing several villages or killing innocents. Also i believe he may have tried to repay it be being as white as he could in his time as Hokage or something.

Example he was in a battle and he overreacted and killed several innocents, one of them maybe Madara's wife, Then when he realized what he done he tried fanatically to end all wars or something like that. i don't know that b ut i do know that no creature is pure white or pitch black.

It may be possible that Hashi posed as a good man infront of every one in the village,but Madara came to know something very disturbing about him and tried to tell people that this man is not what they think he is, but they did not believe him because hashi was known as peace maker who created the village and offerd truce between the clans, and Madara was known as a ruthless uchiha warlord who killed his younger brother for his eye's, if we look closely then we can see that even after Hashi died no one from uchiha got the chance to become hokage, and at the end they were all killed.

Firstly, Madara never spoke to Sasuke... If you are talking about Tobi, we must now accept the fact that Madara and Tobi are different people.

Secondly, when you knew nothing about Pain, he was a bad dude. We can judge only based on what is shown to us... Hashirama has been put forward as the most righteous guy on earth... It need not be the complete truth...

Hashi gave out Bijuus as a peace treaty. For a guy who can control tailed beast is that such a noble gesture? Anybody who decides to use a Bijuu against him fails, whats the point?

Madara, on the other hand, never showed any interest in other tailed beast. He only believes that the Kyuubii belongs to him. (*I don't see anything wrong there)

And even Hashi had made mistake it would have been for the sake of leaf village they were in the era of war, where desperate times call for desperate measures..

You didnt read my post properly. I said Madara strongly believed that the Senju clan were bent on wiping out the Uchiha clan. Now over the course of Konoha's history has there ever been an incident suggesting conflicts between the two clan after Konoha was formed?

Also the reason why there is only one Uchiha alive is because of Tobi, Danzo and Itachi. As far I'm concerned the Senju had nothing to do with it what so ever. U_U

I am again going to use Sakumo's example. He is still a disgraced ninja. Nobody talks about him. From his point of view he did nothing wrong (*and I agree with him) but the village didn't see it like that. Why was he not forgiven considering all his past good deeds???

We don't know who Tobi is so lets leave him alone. Oro and Kabu had their own reasons for doing what they did. If you try telling them, they won't agree that they are evil. Why? Because they don't think they are doing anything wrong. So... :shrug:

my point is, Hashi was really good with people, he was a great leader AND he was good at hiding his dark side is all I can say...
