The Dark Knight Rises VS The Avengers

Ok, if noone else is gonna do it, I'm gonna do it. Which do you think deserves to be called the better movie: The Dark Knight Rises or The Avengers?

I personally think that TDKR was much, MUCH better. The only thing I liked in The Avengers is Stark and frankly I can watch Iron Man if I want to see him, and as a whole I even enjoyed Transformers 1 and 2 much more than The Avengers. But Batman is much better on many levels not just what I liked better to watch.

i can´t stand the avengers piece of trash movie with forced humor and to many heroes and overrated imo (just mine so don´t flame me i know the fanbase of the movie) haven´t seen tdkr but it is without a doubt superior in every way

Seen both and prefer the Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises was good but was too over the top. One of the best things about Batman is he's just a guy, taking down the mob is one thing but to save the whole city like that just felt really forced. And the training his body in prison? Is this rocky?

Seen both and both were brilliant films, but I'm a huge Batman fan and that film blew me away. Damn good. Both were awesome, but I vote TDKR. TDKR felt more like a deep story while Avengers was a fun party.
