The Daiyoji Ninkai Taisen was a pretty interesting arc looking back.

#2nd and 5th Division

The Second division (Hinata, Neji, Karui and Kurostuchi) were on the very front lines being supported by the Fifth Division: (Ino, Shino, Kiba, Hana <--*Kiba's sister*. These were the main guys fighting the zetsu and keeping them at bay.

Ino's and Hinata's byakugan assisted mind jack on Obito, saving countless lives and allowing the shinobi Rengōgun to support Naruto.

Ino overseeing telepathy and communications. Linking the of the entirety of the shinobi Rengōgun after the death of her father and the destruction of HQ. This proved to be invaluable to moral, planning and communication.

Assisting the fifth division leading to the defeat of the Gold brother, Asuma, and Hizashi​

3rd Division

Kakashi, general of the Third division were tasked with supporting The Second and Third division.

Notable feats from them:

Sakura overseeing healing and protection in conjunction with, Kurama, Naruto Uzumaki, Tsunade, and Katsuyu. Saving and preventing the deaths of countless lives.

Ino is without a doubt the breakout star of the war.
