Well the manga continues just like I thought it would, with those who failed to break the cycle of hatred either die a gruesome death, or have a battle of redemption.

Just like Nagato, now Obito who will probably die in the next coming chapters.

Still holding firm that Sasuke will die since he decided to continue the cycle of hatred unlike Naruto when given the choice.

Its hard debate whether it will be a gruesome death along the lines of Oruchimaru (he got revived though) or maybe a redemption death like Nagato.

But either case people that failed the test of the "cycle of hatred" will eventually die.

The point of Sasuke NOT DYING, is to show that people can break the cycle. I doubt he will die anytime soon. (At least before he has broken the cycle completely)
