my first attempt at this hope you like
The Cursed Swordsmen chap.1
this was and age of war among the many clans of ninja, many fought for power, few fought for peace. this is a tale of those few.
"jiraki!" i open my eyes to see my long time friend daichi at the doorway. "hey daichi what brings you here so early, i was hoping for some sleep for once"i say with a chuckle. "c'mon the ceremony is about to start!". i had almost forgotten about the day of fallen, i get to place the blade as father honors the dead of our clan. "one moment, i have to eat bre.." "eat afterwords" he interrupts. we then arrive to the temple of the takagaru, i can already see father preparing. the crowd splits the allow me through and i take my place by the shrine. father begins to honor our fallen comrades, i never truly got why we honor them every year. "now my son, place the blade of sorrow in its resting place." i begin to set the blade in the shrine, when i hear a alarming sound, i turn and its a woman screaming, she has been stabbed. i cant move, im petrified by fear, i can see my father and other clan members fighting the attackers off. but who would do this? why am i so afraid?
its the blood, the screams, i just cant handle all the screams. one of them is approaching me he's gunna kill me if i dont do something but i cant move. he's getting closer to me, blood is all over his face and katana. i need to move, why cant i move! a blade then pierces his chest. "get up jiraki! we have no time for you to be scared" its my father trying to strengthen me, i then draw the blade and ready myself. i feel i can do this, that it will be all ok. i run out of the temple and see the town ablaze, i continue forward and a ninja rushes me, i raise my blade and block his attack and then swing. the man goes limp, i notice my hit landed in his neck, the body falls on me, i then push it off. i look and see the attacking ninja retreating, we won! i walk to the temple to see father, i look around and i see only bodies, i start to panic. "father! father answer me!!" i hear no answer, i look around trying to find him. then i see him, lying on the ground in a pool of blood. a tear falls from my eye as i run to him, begging him to wake up, i start to shake him but still i get no reply. the tears fall from my eyes onto him, i bury my head into his chest, unable to accept that my father is dead.
