The curse of hatred is the chakra from Indra affecting his offspring, just as the chakra from Ashura is the Will of Fire

My theory here is that ninshuu uses Nature energy and allows the consciousness and it's "will" or it's convictions to control where this chakra moves in the world.

Ashura- his chakra affects and inhabits those who seek to better themselves by surrounding themselves with comrades and fighting for peace

Indra - his chakra affects and inhabits those who seek power through selfish means, and those who will use their power to harm Ashuras offspring

The curse of hatred flows through Indras successors/uchihas and it is reflected as sharingan. But will of fire affects everyone.Probably will fire has nothing much to do with Ashura.It might be just Hashiramas ideal as it is passed to down to his successors no matter the clan.
