Idk but Sakura is slaying as the The Worlds Best Medical Jonin, Naruto is a world leader & Sasuke is that N!gga.

But on a real tip idk I suppose there are security jobs and even events that require shinobi skill but just not on a large scale like before.

What's random about it, Konoha has a military budget they've diverted part of it to infrastructure projects and technological development. Do you think the ninja wouldn't be doing other jobs? The scope of development and monetary cost ignores real world economics.

I have 2 things to say in response:

1. Not all shinobi retired after the war (though you noted this).

2. For those that did, Konoha may have something like social security or retirement funds like some countries in the real world do. Think about it this way: If you have any retired grandparents, how do they stay afloat and not become bums on the street? Alternatively, in some countries, military veterans get stipends for their service, so Konoha could have something like that too.
