I don't see how Orochimaru could take over Tobi, but I have been thinking for I while now that we probably haven't see the last of Oro. Thus why Kabuto has Anko, he thinks its more power that he could get of Oro's, but Kabuto might not realize it's a means for him to come back through Kabuto. On the other hand, Orochimaru probably had no idea about Itachi's sword and his soul very well might be trapped and can never get out.

But if you have a theory as to how Orochimaru could take over Tobi's body I would love to hear it xP

In the fight between Kabuto and Tobi Kabuto would have forced Tobi to use the Sharingan he uses for his eye, so he could not do what Sasuke did.
