Did you guys notice the third eye jutsu, that was floating around Yashamaru and Gaara?
It was crying and it was not Gaara his third eye jutsu.
It was Gaara's father.
In mirror 2:
@ 10:25, the eye cries and you can see the eye float away form gaara and Yashamaru @ 12:15-12:19 and than @ 12:25 we see Gaara's father closing one of his eyes with his fingers, just as is done in the third eye jutsu.
I love such little details.
Thought I would share in case someone missed this.
I loved this emotional episode and it had a great animation as well.
His father cared more for him than it might have looked like at first (not including the emotions he showed as Edo, cause those made it really obvious he cared for his son), but a detail like the crying eye. shows his emotional side when he was not an edo yet and how much of a struggle it has been to protect the village and the assasination attempts on his own son, for who he cared. Not saying he wasnt a bit messed up in the head for doing so though.
