The chouku (straight) tomoe sharingan is not the EMS.

Sasuke's databook profile clearly referred to his regular Ms as the straight tomoe sharingan, but the databook did not go into anymore detail past that in that case.

It was stated that Madara and Sasuke were the only Uchiha's who awakened the Straight Comma, and they both had an EMS, and were transmigrants of Indra. Maybe there's a connection somewhere?
