A professor can be a chemist as well, so I would not change that name. I also dislike that analogy. The periodic table is not less related to physics than it is to chemistry. It is used just as much in either subject. So the professor is more suiting, as he gotta know just as much physics as chemistry to master all elements.

I know, but if he could mix elements to form KKG, which might or might not be true, it would be very chemist like. Not suggesting that it would be better than Professor, but still, Chemist might be a good secondary name.

Indeed, but looking back at Kakashi and Yamato's explanation to Naruto, when he learned nature manipulation, it would seem that there is more to it than just some basic chemistry of mixing elements. Of course chemistry is in almost anything, so I can't really say, that you are wrong, but genetics is also quite a sub-category, which most likely has a role in kkg as well.
