I gave One Piece a chance, read through it until the Dressrosa arc. Decided it wasn't for me. After half a year I decided to give it another chance: read halfway into the Wano arc. Still wasn't for me. But I've been told it start getting good after 50 chapters so I might read it again.

I read up to Wano too.. by that time whatever little interest I had was already fading... I could never get in to it much, no matter how much hype is around it.

I was told it will get better soon... Wano is chapter 909-1057 and I still hear the same. It has it's moments but it's just not my cup of tea.

Grind.. .lol
Check it out. It depends on what kind of story you like. It's fans love the world building and tons of characters and abilities. So if you like that kind of story you may like it.

It's just not my type.

I also heard mention of a remake of the anime called "THE One Piece". Not sure how that'll work out but I assume they'll trim all the fluff out of it. But it isn't for those of us who already know the story. Although I appreciate that they are trying to make it easier for others to digest the story.

You see I do love world building and a bunch of characters, it's why I love FMAB so much and I like doing it myself too. But still I don't like one piece, tbf it might be the fans' fault. 😂

I actually enjoyed the live-action on NF.

Wow..they sure know how to make money. But yea they should trim the fluff. I think they had redrew older chapters too,
since, over the years they changed the looks of even main characters. Skin tone and facial features both got beauti treatment. Skin whitening to nose jobs all.

FMAB is character driven, So is Naruto. One piece is fundamentally plot driven. It has many characters and large world but characters - I didn't find them interesting enough. Liking is so subjective. I am more drawn to character driven stories.

For real, FMAB is a master class in amazing characters all the side characters slap. I could go one about all of em being perfect precious people's ;_; Naruto I wish had the same quality and attention and didn't suffer from favouritism, but they're still great, likeable, relatable and fun :D

FMA manga is indeed good. I think Naruto took some inspirations from it as well. But Naruto too had many great characters. And it's fights were also well done.

FMa anime was a mix for me. First anime on it was made when manga was monthly and not finished so they made their own second half. For the second anime on the same story they changed first episode and then rushed through first part of the story..

lol Sakura is normal human caught between people who got special powers already. Kishimoto could at least make her a Hermione. He ruined her even more in Boruto- suddenly Sakura was described as someone who fainted frequently... No that was Hinata Kishi,.

Yes FMA has great music.

Just wish she got main character treatment as I watch, because she had the potential being great at chakra control etc. he literally built great foundations for her and then DID NOTHING until Shippuden and still fumbled. Kishi pls give anything to some of the female characters PLEASEE. At least Part 1 Tsunade rocks.

If I make a character biography in the Naruto RP how do I level up? I want to use Sasori but it says I need to be a genin but I start out at academy student. How do I get to genin to make a Sasori biography?

When you start in the RP you start at academy student level. Your first option is to make a bio that meets that criteria, a custom bio or canon, it doesn't matter as long as you enjoy it.

Once your bio is approved for the NW you can perform [Missions], once you have done enough of these missions you can apply for a rank up in the rank up thread. Once you have the required rank, you can submit a new bio after meeting whatever requirements the bio needs.

:) I hope this helps

It does. Thank you. Am I allowed just the one biography?

Here are some threads that will be really helpful to read. The RP is in the middle of a reform/update right now so some things might be slightly out of date but not massively.

Basic Bio Rules, Template, & Ranks | Anime Forum
(2) Attribute System | Anime Forum
(2) Roleplay Tier List | Anime Forum

These are all good places to start, that first link also links to the Rank up thread :)

At risk of double posting...

You are allowed a total of 2 biographies. I believe you do get access to a third but I can't remember if this comes after a particular rank or not. I think 3 might be the standard now.

This gives you plenty of chance to test out various different types of character however only one of them can participate in the NW (Ninja world, the story section of the RP) at a time. you can use the other bios for participating in the Battle Arena in the meantime
