I read that Europeans stole mummies and ate it as medicine... To be buried with so much fanfare and lengthy process only to be ground and consumed as pills..

Dark but yea. Orochimaru was not the only one out there and Kabuto and him were not the only ones digging graves to steal from dead bodies...

Why does this strike me as more of a Chinese practice... I have been reading too much Wuxia and Xianxia..

": In 1847, an Englishman was advised to mix the skull of a young woman with treacle (molasses) and feed it to his daughter to cure her epilepsy. (He obtained the compound and administered it, as Sugg writes, but “allegedly without effect.”) A belief that a magical candle made from human fat, called a “thieves candle,” could stupefy and paralyze a person lasted into the 1880s. Mummy was sold as medicine in a German medical catalog at the beginning of the 20th century. And in 1908, a last known attempt was made in Germany to swallow blood at the scaffold."

there was a similar article on National Geographic too..

This is wild. Interesting though.

There are a lot of Chinese stories which involve taking consuming the essence of another to cure ailments or improve physique. However, to know it happened in European culture is insane xD

I have been reading too much Wuxia and Xianxia..

Recommend if you have some good ones in mind that are easy to find too. I was looking for something interesting but light reading.

I wouldn't call it light reading xD But if you are interested in Wuxia or Xianxia light novels then my favourites and probably the best ones I have read are:

Martial World
I Shall Seal The Heavens
Renegade Immortal

Probably prediction thread and discussion for Boruto. The discussions are not that heavy as back when Naruto was ongoing so I put up a single discussion thread for new chapters now.

You don't look short of kumi, but you can make a similar discussion thread for general discussions for HunterX Hunter and I will sticky it. I heard he released or about to release 4 new chapters...

Lmao I was not missing the Kumi if that was what it sounded like :lol1-onion-head-emoticon: :lol1-onion-head-emoticon:

it would have been an outdated discussion/prediction thread anyways, they only were sticked for a week back then as I recall lol.

I don't read hunterxhunter tho haha.

I was joking about the kumi.. But yea, someone asked me to make a thread for Hunter X Hunter and I was not motivated enough yet and then you posted. That reply was incidental lol

Also I didn't notice that we lose kumi when thread was unsticked. I had forgotten about it.
