The chances that Hidan returns?

I'm curious to whether or not we will ever see him resurface!

In reality I really wish he would come back.. he was one of my favorite characters by far.

Thoughts?

I doubt he will be brought back, but a small part of me nags at me to think so.

probably when the show ends there will be a 10 years later and there will a Nara clan ritual established where they dig up Hidan's head and piss on it, but thats the only way i can see him returning

I believe it was revealed in the 3rd databook that the only real flaw in Hidan's immortality other than needing to perform the ritual to maintain it was that he could still die from lack of nutrition. He's been down there for over a month, maybe two now, so he should be right about dead now.

If anything he should concentrate on earth style releases (if he even can) and capture a narra/dig himself out/kill the narra and place his head on top of the new body. Then and only then does he deserve to come back.

He was immortal by killing people for his god, how can he kill people in that hole he is in? Answer me that

I love Hidan! I would love to see him again, but we will never see him again I think. I remember reading in the data book that he needed nutrition, but since he's buried, and his body was blown to pieces, he can't get it, so he's dead.

Too bad Kabuto didn't know about him, I'm sure he would have revived him, and we would have probably seen Ino-Shika-Cho fight against him, oh well, haha
