the truth is the byakugan had no adults showing their true power and new techniques, it has been about naruto and sasuke heritage.

if the manga showed the masters of the byakugan it could change some of your minds.

yes it does depend on the user but the most times of the byakugan in action is the kids and they did not even master the dojutsu.

in ocular powers of raw power than it would be mangekyou sharingan greater than byakugan but the byakugan has deadly taijutsu and vision which makes it hard to defeat someone with the eye.

I agree we have only seen children really with the byakugan and not a full elite adult so everything we have seen neji and hinata do is probably not even the full capabilities of an elite byakugan user.

Heavenly rotation can shield the user against amaterasu

I am unsure if the byakugan can fall under a genjutsu they have amazing chakra control so out of anyone they are probably the best candidates to break out of them.

If all chakra points in a susano user is blocked they can not use susano because they cannot release chakra I believe.

Not to mentioned all the other feats of the byakugan for a hyuga to go up against a susano sharingan user they have to be very very very ELITE. And maybe they can pull through and win. +rep always enjoy talks about the byakugan

i think the byakugan is equal or even greeater than the ems because of the abiilities it has to save you from big attacks and strong people.

this is why this eye is actually wanted you can be physically outmatch but with hurting the internal organs you can do alot of damage and kill the opponent and stop their chakra and while knowing your surroundings.

if you only look at the abilities it doesn't stronger. byakugan grants you a unique close combat style, while MS/EMS grants you tsukuyomi, amaterasu, susanoo, kamui.

also if you look at that guy who stole the byakugan, he can't use jyuuken. so it wasn't hunted for that, but instead of spying and scouting.
