Yeah but the point is you don't see the marks, boruto already thinks he has a byakugan. So I'm betting on its a byakugan with sage Chakra capabilities.

The cursemark doesnt look like a tatoo though and those black marks dont have a defined shape while here it seems defined

So far anything with Sage chakra has shown to be nuke level attacks except for those Sage tools

BTW about the Byakugan, how does he have it in only one eye or am I missing something? Also if it was a Byakugan he should see chakra points? Did he see them ?

Well Mitsuki already has sage mode and Sasuke had curse seal in part 1 so I think the power scaling will be fine

As for how he has it why it is the way it is its not explained yet but I think oro is responsible and I think he might have seek him out to activate the other eye

It's the truth though, the entire arc was about whether Boruto thought he had the Byakugan, and they tested him, found nothing.

Why? Because he doesn't have a Byakugan.
