I wrote it for a scriptwriting class so its in script format but its still easy to read. Enjoy.
EXT. DOWNTOWN LA. - NIGHT
A homeless man, about 45, sits against a wall on the sidewalk. His cloths are ripped and losing color. Hair down to his shoulders and facial hair covering most of his face.
Another man, in his late 30’s in what looks to be a brand new suit and tie. He is holding a box.
The man in the suit walks up to the homeless man, sets the box in front of him and walks away.
The homeless man stares at the box thinking of all the possibilities that could ally in the box.
As he opens the box, his face gets warm and filled with tears.
It’s the other mans old suit and tie.
EXT. IN FRONT OF THE 99 CENT STORE. - DAY
Walks in with the suit and tie on still with all the facial hair. Walks out with a frowning face full of determination.
EXT. IN FRONT OF SEVERAL OTHER STORES. CONTINUES.
All ending up with him walking out depressed but his face showed that he wasn’t going to give up.
A week has passed and no one has hired him for a job.
EXT. IN FRONT OF MCDONALDS. DAY
The homeless man walks in the room and after about 30 minutes, he walks out with paperwork and a grin on his face.
He got the job.
A year has passes.
EXT. DOWNTOWN LA. - DAY
The once homeless man is seen walking to work with a clean shaven face, a girl by his side and what looks to be a brand new suit and tie. The man is carrying a box. He sees a homeless man sitting on against a wall on the sidewalk. The man walks up to the homeless man and drops the box off and walks away.
