If she didn't tend the wounds now, he may pass out from blood loss since the wound looked like it had been bleeding for a while.

It was a group of observers..., they were trying to convert a kid who didn't want to be converted. I defended the kid and took on about five of them and obviously I didn't leave the battle in good shape. Haha..(cough cough).
