The biggest plot hole still remains..

Once upon a time, three of the greatest ninja of all time where walking down the street. They where called Orochimaru, Tsunade and Jiraiya. While walking down the street they see some kids, war orphans. Orochimaru offers to kill them, and spare them the misery of war, Tsunade is like..Derp, and Jiraiya is like RINEGGAAAAAANN

Orochimaru being the master of all jutsu and seeker of all knowledge still doesnt know what the Rinnegan looks like, so he naturally cant be bothered with the kids, neither does Tsunade. But Jiraiya knows, he knows something the others dont, RINNNEGGGAAAAANN

Now! Hold on just a darn gosh moment. The only two persons to EVER, i mean EVER have the Rinnegan was The S06P, and Madara. The Sage lived a 1000 year ago (or more), so no one currently alive has seen his Rinnegan, that means that when Madara looked himself in the mirror and saw The Rinnegan in his eyes, he was the FIRST and ONLY person to actually see the Rinnegan since the Sage. Then he gave them away to Nagato.

Now, the Rinnegan is described in The Uchiha Tablets, but to read them you need Sharingan og MS or Rinnegan, with an ordinary sharingan you can read only parts, and with MS you can read a little more, with Rinnegan you can read it all! Only a few people have ever seen the shrine, even Itachi himself has not seen it. So this leads me to ask, how the FUC.... He... Sh.... did Jiraiya know about the Rinnegan??? AT FIRST SIGHT, he was shocked and in disbeliefe He knew right away it was the Rinnegan. Now naturally Tsunade and Orochimaru didnt notice anything, why would they, no one has ever seen the Rinnegan. And dont say Orochimaru and Tsunade didnt see the Rinnegan, thats an insult to their sight and ability as a ninja, the kids where right there, everyone saw there eyes.

This leads me to believe that either Jiraiya was told about the Rinnegan in detail by the Great Toad Sage (that probably lived in the same time as So6P) And that it was part of his profecy to find the choosen child, or simply, ITS A PLOT HOLE! There are several Dojustu and different eyes out there, take Kurenai for example, at first glance it almost looks like she has a red Rinnegan, and like i said, no one has seen The Rinnegan yet, only read or heard about it, so Jiraiya must have been told about the Rinnegan in extreme detail.
I quote Jiraiya: "Those eyes, of the three great eye techniques, they are without question the most powerfull"

another explaination could be is that Jiraya has traveled around the world in persuit of the child of prophecy - he might have heard some ancient tales and stories about the sage that were passed down through generations as a mere myth in "certain" lands - he probably didnt believe it and didnt feel the need or remember to tell oro or tsunade about some myth he heard..

toadsage can barely remember his name - i doubt he would remember detail, besides jiraya decribed it as a myth not a prophecy.

I believe Kurenai's eyes are just coincidental character design nothing special about them really. & did Nagato even have Rinnegan activated at the time when the Ame Orphans were found by the Sannin? If I recall correctly Nagato always had his hair haning over his eyes....

I seriously doubt this. Jiraiya probably didn't even have his sage mode at that point.
Anime made up the whole toadsummoningaccidentdsagemodetraining thing. So it's not canon.

It could be that Jiraiya was simply feeling empathy. Jiraiya begun his traveling after Orochimaru left the village. That is what I believe.

I just realized that Tsunade probably left while Jiraiya was training the ame orphans.

I don´t see the problem in knowing about it, I mean if there are still stories around about the so6p, why wouldn´t there be some around concerning his eyes?
it´s even known how the eyes of one of his sons were, so why not the eyes of the most important person ever?

About the part about the other 2 sannin not noticing the eyes, that´s indeed strange.
If you asked me, the most probable solution is just that he wore his hair over his eyes, there is no need to produce artificial plotholes if there are so much already

Nagato had his eyes covered by his hair back then. The Sanin together never saw Nagato's eyes as a kid.

one problem with your post, orochimaru and tsunade never got to see the rinnegan nagato revealed it when protecting yahiko after jman already agreed to look after them

also the uchiha stone tablet only talks about the secrets behind the eyes. the rinnegan is a dojutsu of legend which most shinobi older enought knew about but only see it as nothing more than legend
