I doubt that the manga is at the end. If Kishimoto has entered Hamura did it for a reason, and I do not think it's just to show us who descend from the Hyuga. He could very well not to introduce it and say that all the ninja descended from Hagoromo like the rest said for much of the manga. The dojutsu of the Hyuga, the byakugan, proved to be shit as well. Kaguya's dimension jutsu, her primary technique, was rinnegan based. So much for the redemption.

Many hype failed to meet expectations, but nothing exceeds the level of failure of the Hyuga. There are many people who don't belong to a clan like Jiraiya, Onoki, Minato, Gai etc. would absolutely destroy any Hyuga in a battle

As Naruto is coming to an end, I must say the Hyuga clan were one of the biggest embarrassment of the manga. Many characters without Kekkei Genkai like 3rd Raikage can solo the whole Hyuga clan...what was the point of introducing them in such a grand manner in Part 1, I wonder?

Kaguya failed pretty hard imo

Nope, Kaguya is planet/dimension buster. Kishi just nerf her to wank Team 7(excluding Sasuke). Having Sakura hurt her with her ninjutsu was just a plot hole. Kakashi making her fall when she got her shoulder sliced made no sense since she handled Naruto cutting her whole arm off pretty well. And Kishi forgot that she can absorb chakra based attacks.
