I said before, "Time has nothing to do with power". If old kai says it's superior/better than the fusion dance, then it's obviously because there the potara fusion is far more powerful. A artifact produced by the kaioshin's holds far greater quality than those of the lower world, the potara fusion is indeed greater than the metamoran style.

The "spirit bomb" thing also made some sense but it was dumb but i guess Goku and Vegeta's energy played a huge role in that.

Zamasu is stronger than Kid buu but current future Trunks with his new SSJ form, is also stronger than Goku and Vegeta where back than. Also Zamasu had become quite unstable already.

Maybe the power wasnt only in amount of energy but also in the strength of the will of people.
Zamasu said, so many different energies were pouring through him.

Besides, Goku and Vegeta sent their power to Trunks as well.

You saw it all man. Was pretty disappointing. Can't believe people are defending this. This is beyond crap. SSB Goku somehow overpowers Zamasu and then Vegito loses a punching contest with Zamasu? Granted Zamasu had absorbed some power, but its Vegito. There were too many inconsistencies in this episode, far above average number.

While I would still say Potara are superior, but this episode toned down on Potara's powers by retconning and imposing the time limit to 1 hour. The one hour in Buu episode lasted 2 episodes, but here it was over in 5-10 mins. Pathetic trolling by Toei. How could they do this to MVP Vegito?

We are comparing billions of people to a 100 at max let's say. Still even if you want to compare strength or strength of emotions, it won't make sense. A) Pure physical strength of 100 cannot be more than billions. That is just irrational.
B) Those people in Buu saga were pretty emotional as well. They gave their spiritual energy till they fainted. All of them. So the strength of emotion of these people, overpowering billions doesn't make sense. Specially since they are standing and the billions fainted after giving their spiritual energy.

Now let us say then the factor are Goku and Vegeta. Then they could have begun this way and done this at the very begging. No need to watch the world be destroyed further.

Don't get me wrong, I would have enjoyed if Trunks had finished the arc. Just not in this manner. They rushed the entire thing. They had him rush past SSJ3, SSG base and SSB. Then they had him learn Mafuba in minutes and also use spirit bomb like technique without the knowledge of it. That is just too much of asspulls. Too much to digest. If instead he had only done one of those, it would be palatable.

Besides as said Goku and Vegeta gave their power too and that was a lot as they recently ate a sensu bean.

Than we have een unstable worn out Zamasu compared to a not worn out Kid Buu.

A slice would take down Zamasu's body but would not be enough for kid buu, as kid buu would regenerate.

You would need more energy if Zamasu would regenerate like kid buu. Zamasu however had issues with his fused body due to Black being part of it.

Also who knows the extend of trunks his ssjform.

With power of will i didnt necessarily mean only power lvl btw.
Also the people in trunks his time were much more involved emotionally than those during kid buu.
