[Discussion] The Best Underrate Manga ...... ( A Must Read)

Nah, it is underrated. Hiatuses isn't even one of my reasons why I think it's underrated. It's mainly that it gets overshadowed by it's superb anime adaptation and that it gets hate for it's art-work so people don't even bother reading it.

OT: The best underrated manga would be HxH & Toriko for me.

HxH isn't underrated, it's legendary.

Kingdom, no one really seems to know about it when it's like the best ongoing Shounen out right now.
Excluding Hxh ofc.

Nah, it is underrated. Hiatuses isn't even one of my reasons why I think it's underrated. It's mainly that it gets overshadowed by it's superb anime adaptation and that it gets hate for it's art-work so people don't even bother reading it.

I haven't seen the anime for it but I have read the manga. From what I hear about it's anime and some clips here and there, it seems to have added to H x H not taken from it. The manga itself has it's own flavour but not without it's own problems. And yes the hiatuses. They never help.

The big three became big 3 because for years they delivered a chapter almost every week and worked hard to keep that fanbase and get more. Average chapter 42+ per year for OP, 46+ per year for Naruto, 45+ chapter per year for bleach. H x H produced like 19 chapter per year. Seeing that track record it's a plus that H x H is still this known and has a loyal fanbase sticking up for it. Not underrated from my POV.

While I do agree that the series as a whole isn't underrated but personally the manga is from the reasons that I listed. Ofc this is from what I see in the anime/manga community and obv. if we were to look at HxH's sales in Japan then it's not underrated at all. You should check out the anime or at least the arc you've enjoyed, it's done well overall.

I dropped Terra Formars. Didn't like it. Only mangas I read are Berserk and Tokyo Ghoul. Can't say either of them are underrated.

Not really. It deserves to be one of the big ones but a lot of people never seen it.

He said that because HxH is already well known as a great manga/anime. It's one of the most popular. It's not a great story that recieves alittle attention.

It's one of the few shonens that's written well. It does have it's flaws but still deserves to be at the top 3 for sure. You're going to love the series even more once you're caught up

All series has flaws, HxH is no exception. These are my 3 main ones:

-Main characters are side-lined (Kurapika & Leorio)
-Inconsistent art
-Youpi & Pouf's death seemed rather "cheap" and left me unsatisfied.
