The best reason to go evil

Madara has nothing special or decent about him apart from the fact he think's he's royalty because he was born to a clan that has a special ocular Jutsu, However ... As special and he feels his clan is, they fell before the power of the Senju Clan a clan that funnily enough had no special Ocular Jutsu...

Madara went evil purely because he wanted to rule because he though it was his right, which was sadly denied to him. Madara in his attempt to rebel and become the powerful and almighty leader failed as he proved he had no ambition in putting his fellow clan members and village before his ego and his hunger for power.

Madara in all his mighty failed to take over as leader of the village despite taking his brothers eye's and was casted as a shadow for the hatred that burned bright within the Uchiha clan.

Now after 100 years, The Once Failed Madara Is back, fighting with all his mighty to reclaim what he believe is rightfully his... "The world" Although within all his might, he Failed to relies that he's already failed as he's currently fighting a 16 year old boy.

The Great Mighty Madara doesn't seem so bad ass to me.

I think Obito had the WORST reason, not only in Naruto, but manga history to become evil. It's just not that serious... It was war, friends die. ¬_¬

Friends don't usually kill your only other friends after you specifically ask them not to with what you and they thought was your dying breath. He does have a point in that the Naruto world is pretty messed up.

He lived a life with a lie and thought that his brother was evil, but in the end he wasnt. He got manipulated by two people; Obito and Orochimaru and most twiested by Obito.

And more. Not to forget Kabuto's life too. Worst reason is Obito and Madara

So you're not mentioning Itachi as the cause and single largest reason his life was ****ed up?

I don't agree with obito, sasuke and madara, they are uchihas and its there destiny to go evil in order to awake their optical jutsus (killing to awake the EMS). l will go against the poll and go with kabuto because after all the planing he has gone through and the jutsus he has learnt, he was been treated like a tool by many ninjas, defeated by itachi, robbed of his summons especially edo madara and hopes to successed Oro, a ninja who refuses to die. If he wishes to understand the world better, he should turn evil.

Revenge: Sasuke

Loss: Obito and Oro

Betrayl: Madara and Kabuto


Madara and Kabuto both had great levels of betrayl in their lives but both different; Kabuto's was longer lasting and over a greater period of time with multiple incidents of it over his whole life, While Madara's was abrupt and on a much larger and personal scale as he was their appointed leader.

Obito and Oro were different and similar in their ways of dealing with Loss; Both snapped and lost grip with some part of their humanity and concept of reality when they lost the ones they loved as well as giving themselves a life goal that seems both somewhat self centered and ambitious. But Orochimaru's loss involved many more people (Parents, Tsunade's brother, Dan, and many other comrades lost in the war) lead to a more drawn out break from sanity, While Obito his was abrupt and hit him at a much younger and more vulnerable age.

Sasuke's decision to leave the leaf was very emotion and ambition driven and was at the youngest age of any of these five he's also probably the most driven in general out of all of them, however revenge became his life's goal and after his initial act of revenge he learned that his revenge was meaningless and took the opportunity to seek revenge again, against Danzo, rather than reconcile with the fact that he killed his only living relative that truly cared for him... Basically instead of dealing with the problems revenge has made in his life he finds a reason to be vengeful upon someone else and digs himself deeper.

These are all characters who lose their way and stray from sanity to one extent or another, but ultimately they all match up apprentice to master in very strange way.

Madara: Betrayl... Abrupt.
Obito: Loss... Abrupt.

Oro: Loss... Drawn Out.
Kabuto: Betrayl... Drawn Out.

Sasuke: Revenge... Abrupt at first then drawn out over time.

The reason orochimaru went evil and started to study and use kinjutsu was not just cause of his parents but of nawaki and dan, he saw how painful life was when you lose somebudy, i guess he wanted to find a jutsu that made everyone live forever without worrying if they die or not, but ultimatley he went truely evil cause he lost his way as sauske said

Madara had no reason; he just wanted more power and obito was a crybaby who lost his girlfriend.
