We are always told about how much the political left supposedly sympathizes with the "working class". The truth, as you exemplified here (the daily mail was historically aimed at the ethnic British working class, and seems to maintain something of that legacy), is that the European political left hates no other group in the world more than it does that segment of its own peoples.

The reality is that the political left despises just about everything of the traditional working class people of Europe, especially their traditional, conservative ethnic culture. Which is why you stabbed them in the back and started importing a new voter-base from the third world. No doubt the conservative Muslims who vote overwhelmingly for the political left are doing so because they want homosexual marriage.

But you will have to reap what you sew one day (the rise of the likes of the UKIP and Front National is merely a herald of what is to come).

By the way, conservatives have their broadsheets too. It's called the telegraph. Of course, real conservatives (in the case of the UK, the folk voting for the UKIP etc) can't be too politically incorrect given our current political zeitgeist but they (edited: well I don't align myself completely with any group but I guess provisionally I identify with the conservatives) have many media outlets with sophisticated authorship on the internet now.

My current favourite is the Unz Review, owned by conservative American theoretical Physicist turned business man, Ron Unz. Although it does host some unorthodox leftist writers, most are conservatives.
