Well Itachi was "assassinating" them so he was coming when they least expected and also even when people was sleeping so that doesn't mean he is some kenjutsu master it was probably just the easiest weapon choice. As seen when he was shaking behind his mum and dad a sword was still easy to use then let's say a kunai.

So real kenjutsu users I would say Mangetsu and killer bee, sasuke's good as well

Itachi is the best too.

Yep but with a sword killer bee would probably pressure kabuto meaning kabuto would have to find a way to keep up with him. Do you see the difference?

Either way when it comes to the anime I will judge, he must be pretty good though, using it to massacre the clan shows he knows how to use one well. I wouldn't say the best though as their are people like killer bee, minfune and Mangetsu.

I would assume sasuke may even be better combining it with lightning too but like I said I will wait for the anime to do itachi and sasuke vs kabuto

but if killer bee had a fight with kabuto, bee would have a hard time because he can't predict kabuto's move (no sharingan).
i believe that a punch from Dsm kabuto Would give killer bee much trouble, if he couldn't dodge it.

Mifune was so fast with his iaido that ninjutsu is said to be useless against him as he can close the gap between opponents before they finish their hand signs. Itachi's one best feat with a sword was blocking kabuto, even Sasuke has better feats with a sword than him.
