The best Jounin in Konoha

guys..it's plain simple..kakashi would own all the other jounin cuz of his sharingan. And why does everyone say neji is weaker than maito guy? Because of the gates?

I pretty sure Might Guy would beat Neji in the scheme of things, not because of the eight gates but also because of his experience as well. Granted the eight gates is a valid reason but it seems to be overlooked that Guy is actually a pretty smart shinobi. The reason I would place him at close second is that he even created a fighting technique to counter the sharingan. No doubt he has done something similar for the Byakugan.

Additionally, I agree with the fact that Kakashi is the top jonin.

Yes I agree, Kakashi is the top jounin with Gai as a close second. But Neji isn't even in the same league as those 2. Hes just a rookie jounin. I think a close third or even a tie with Gai for second would definitely be Hiashi Hyuuga. I mean, he won the fastest battle in the entire Naruto series. He KILLED the STRONGEST ninja of the Hidden Cloud (at that time) with ONE hand strike in less than a second, AND caught baby Hinata before the cloud nin hit the ground dead. Now thats top jounin level skill!

Anbu doesn't mean you're a Jonin or even a Chunin. Anbu can be selected at any rank and Yamato was most likely selected to be Anbu whilst a Chunin.

Anbu is composed of Chunin and Jonin level Shinobi, therefore it's not a rank higher than Jonin itself, so what I'm trying to say is that Anbu is = to Jonin and vice versa.

Also you don't instantly become Jonin once you get 2 elements.. According to your statement Tenzo would have been a Jonin since he figured out how to use his Kekkie Genkai..
