So yeah pick your top 3 friends in anime history, kishi really needs to learn from these that i'm going to list.



1- Gon and killua, No contest. Those two are way more than just brothers or friends, I can't even describe it in one word. They both witnessed each other's darkness, not to mention that you could feel the in development their relationship throughout the whole series, whether it was rivalry,respect, admiration or even being prospective of each other, you always would somehow find it interesting how they interact with each other, it never gets boring unlike naruto......

3-Lelouch and suzaku. Those two were not necessarily on the same page the whole time but they damn well understood it each other, and no not like naruto and sasuke's relationship which was an asspull that only naruto kept relevant throughout part 2. But something way more complex than that, for example suzaku taking his friend's identity in order to continue his will which he didn't find "satisfying" but despite that he still did it and on top of that was able to end his friends life at the end. The main reason I'm adding this one is because it was the most realistic so far, one would totally imagine that happening in real life.

I guess those 700+ chapters weren't for nothing after all.......

It was symbolism, and I think that their connection was foreshadowed in that scene where they were outside and it was raining. Not to mention that was an anime only scene (If I remember correctly) but still totally nice and way better than the actual manga ending............
