The Best First-Time gaming experience?

The title explains for itself! Just think of a video game you played, and for the first time too. What did it feel like? Feel free to share your story.

I think one of my best is when I played Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm, the first one. It was one of my first PS3 games and I loved running around as Naruto around the village, collecting scrolls and ingredients, and it felt amazing just to jump around everywhere!

The first game I ever played was PAC-man. I was a little kid though I'm far from that mindset.

I cant remember what was first. It was either Super Mario 64, Super Smash Bros. (on the N64. Lol), or Sonic the Hedgehog 2 on the Sega Genesis. Good days.

The games that I enjoyed the most the first time were: Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Demo because I did not have a PS3 and I was amazed as to what it could do. DBZ Budokai, the first game I've played, and Black Ops, which was my first PS3 game.

I would like to say my Pokemon game for Game Boy Color but I couldn't get passed the name selection... I wasn't the smartest kid.

Damn that game was addictive, played it from the moment I got home from school, till bedtime.
Got sucked into it, it lasted for around 2 years, then the tragic day came, when my nintendo had to rest in peace.U_U

I had one hell of a start. Ninja Gaiden Sigma. It was fun, but it was hard as ****.

2. Dark Souls
3. Metroid Prime

All 3 were highly atmospheric and full of unknowns the first playthrough. Quite enjoyable for all of them.

For me I think it was Prince of Persia 2d and some Sonic game. Then PoP SoT came out and stole their places. :yeah:

Oblivion, I had only played it for 15 minutes and have been hooked on Elder Scrolls ever since it totally changed my opinion of Western video games.

Dragon Age, on my first play through I didn't get into it for some reason, I abandoned it after about an hour but now it is my all time favourite game

Shadow hearts, when I first played it I fell in love with the game like no other, just adored it

Dragon Quest, never played anything like it, I wish these old games would play on the new machines or at least release them so I can buy them again

For me it was playing pokemon gold when I was a kid, the post-game was mind-blowing especially since I played pkmn red before it.
