the thing that pisses me off the most is taht kishimoto most likely made 615 to confirm naruhina because he promised one pairing confirmed and he isn't that good with female characters so it wouldn't be suprsiing if this is his plan.

I in no way support any kind of weird love theories in Naruto, but I would like to point out:

He simply grabbed Hinata's hand (and thanked her) because she was right there. If Sakura was the one beside him, he probably would've done the same to her.

I wouldn't say that Naruto intended it in a romantic context. That would be a bit too sudden.

However, we do see Kiba, a few chapters earlier, teasing Naruto about trying to look cool for Hinata. It's quite likely that this will all develop into a much closer relationship between the two that will more naturally progress to a romance out of the two's mutual support for each other and joy in doing so.

It's what Naruto has been missing - a real 'partner' - someone to be his 'home.' And it's what Hinata has been missing - a sort of flare and spontaneity - someone to bring her life and excitement.

If the two actually start taking time to hang around each other (particularly now that Hinata is much more confident) - it's bound to develop into a very tight bond at a rate that will probably be a little scary for the two of them.

How is it 'natural' for Naruto to get the girl that he started the series wanting... and has since turned down?

As much as anything - that illustrated Naruto's growth in character. If you remember, at the start of the series, he was willing to disguise himself as Sasuke in order to spend time with Sakura. A stark contrast to what we see, there - where he calls her bluff.

Not to mention that what he has wanted all along is now present in Hinata.

Sakura may have been the 'picture' he started the series wanting... but the life, relationship, and respect he's been looking for pretty much radiate from Hinata. It's also quite possible that his taste in women has matured a little, as well - and the novelty of pink hair is not the focus of Naruto's interests any longer.

I mean - let's look at current events. Naruto pretty much sends Sakura packing and then he turns around and takes Hinata's hand after the two essentially tried the same thing - Each was trying to get Naruto to stop shouldering all of the burden by himself. Of course - the fact that Sakura has no tact while Hinata does made a bit of difference, there - but it's quite obvious that Naruto has no objection to this person being a part of his life (Hinata).

Though it would be absolutely hilarious for it to turn out to be NaruKarin. Judging from Sasuke's reaction to her, he might just try to brush Karin off on Naruto (or anyone). It'd be quite priceless.

Nah, not going to. As for now there is no confrimation that Naruto returned Hinatas feelings, or that his feelings for Sakura changed. Its just funny for me that this thread states NH to be canon.
