Part One: Reanimation
Chaos ensued almost immediately. After the Death Eaters broke through the defenses surrounding the castle the battle raged fiercely. Death Eaters were dueling student and teacher alike.
"Minerva!" Flitwick shouted to McGonagall, running towards her and blasting two Death Eaters out of the way, "how could they have breached our defenses so easily.
"I'm not sure Filius" she answered, "It shouldn’t have been possible, not when…” She gasped in horror as she saw the group of wizards which had entered the fray. Wizards whose eyes were pure black and whose bodies seemed to be crumbling. "No! that's not possible...", McGonagall whispered, “it can’t be!”
"What is going on? I thought we were deceased!" GrYffendor shouted. "I can't control my body." He tried to struggle as his wand jerked upward and killed two of the Hogwarts defenders.
"It is the Edotensei curse", Slytherin answered with relish. "Whence one bringeth back souls from the next world and enslaveth them. It is the curse I created myself to kill you."
“Really Salazar”, said Ravenlaw, “Even I did not know that you had created such an evil spell.”
"Lily, what is going on!? I know I died! I was facing you-know-who and now… and now we're being forced to fight against our will!” James shouted to the young red haired woman next to him.
"Who is Lily. Do I know you?" she asked as she stuggled to control her body. “What is this place, where am I?”
"Lily, it's me James!"
"My name is Kushina Uzumaki. I don't know what's going on!"
"Lily...?"
"Stop calling me that Ya know! My name is Kushina!"
“Reducto!” Fred and George shouted in unison. The combined force of their spells blasted the ground and shot shrapnel at high velocity towards Gideon and Fabian Prewett.
“Nice one bro!” Cried Fred triumphantly.
As the smoke cleared the two bodies were revealed to be blasted apart. But then…
“What the hell is this?” shouted George in shock.
The bodies of the Prewett brothers were reforming. Skin bone and muscle mending itself, so that no trace of damage was seen.
"There is no mistaking it" said Slughorn, who had joined Flitwick and Mcgonagall. "It's the Edo Tensei curse. A forbidden spell written in the book “Magick Moste Evil". I thought it was just a myth! You Know Who must have reanimated these dead people to fight us."
"How do we stop them? asked Sprout.
"It seems", said Mcgonagall "They can't be killed as they are already dead. Our only chance is to use fuinmagic (sealing spells) to seal them"
BOOOM!! Without warning there was a massive eplosion that shook the whole room. The four teachers jumped out of the way as flames engulfed the area and bodies flew all over. The heat and shock of the explosion pushed through the fighters like a storm and caused massive damage. The teachers slowly got up from the floor, unhurt thanks to Flitwicks shield charm, but coughing and temporarily blinded by the light and smoke.
As the smoke cleared, two wizards and two witches stood in the crater.
"Are those..."
"The founders" Mcgonagall finished."
"If so it is up to us to stop them" said Flitwick"
"Stop them?" cried Slughorn. "Legend says that when the four founders battled together they could beat entire armies!"
"Don't be a coward!" shouted Mcgonagall. "We are the heads of the houses. There is no one except us to do this.
The four teaches rushed forward to face the founders, wands outstretched and faces determined.
"Who might you be?" Asked Rowena Ravenclaw.
"We are the heads of houses" answered Sprout.
"And we will stop you" said Mcgonagall.
"Stop us. Thou art foolish. You fools hast no power against us", laughed Slytherin. “It is clear as day that thy magic is Pathetic, and yet you seek to dance with us?”
"No" said Gryffendor. "You must stop us. If this is truly Hogwarts, then we will obliterate if we are not stopped!”
Suddenly the four founders raised their wands into the air. The teachers quickly jumped back and readied themselves for the attack.
"KOCHIYOSE NO JUSTU!" The founders shouted together.
With an enormous bang and burst of smoke, three enormous animals appeared out of nowhere. A Badger, an eagle and a lion. Gryffendor, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw jumped on top of their respective animals, so that Ravenclaw flew on her enormous eagle above the monstrous Badger and Lion where Gryffendor and Hufflepuff stood with perfect balance.
"No way" Whispered Flitwick. "Those are the legendary summonings of the founders.”
“We’re dead” moaned Slughorn.
"But Salazar" asked Ravenclaw, "Where is thy basilisk?"
"It appeareth to be dead" spat Slytherin. He stood next to the enormous lion and looked furious.
Yes!" Shouted Mcgonagall. "Potter killed slytherins Basilisk. This should make things easier.
Without warning a new wizard flew from the side and jumped next to the founders. Slytherin started to laugh.
"Who is that?" gasped slughorn.
"Herpo the foul" said Slytherin. "The creator of the Basilisk"
"but that means..."
The newcomer raised his wand." Kochiyose no Jutsu!" Shouted Herpo.
An enormous serpent appeared with a bone chilling hiss.. Slytherin hissed back excitedly and jumped on the head of the basilisk.
"Close your eyes. If The Basilisk looks you in the eyes you are dead" Shouted Mcgonagall.
