“Protego Maxima” Flitwick shouted immediately, waving his wand to the air.
“Mokuton: Mokujōheki” Sprout screamed, her eyes tight shut.
“Doton Kekkai: Dorō Dōmu” Slughorn screacheed wildly with his eyes to the floor.
A wooden dome made of tight, interlocking parts burst from the floor and surrounded the teachers. With a great rumbling a mass of earth erupted from the floor and covered the dome. A translucent shield which was shaped like an orb, covered the newly formed mass of wood and earth.
“I see, so they hide rather than face us!” sneered Slytherin as he gazed down at the barriers from his high vantage point atop the Basilisk.
Ravenclaw’s eagle swooped down. Holding out her wand, Ravenclaw examined the barrier. “It was a wise tactic to hide. They stood no chance against our power. This be a powerful shield too.”
The lion and badger charged forward and struck the barrier with massive force. The many layered dome trembled but stayed firm. Inside, the four teachers flinched at the attack and raised their wands carefully, while standing inside their pitch black dome.
“How long can their barrier hold?” asked Hufflepuff.
Ravenclaw considered for a moment. “It is a powerful shield. Even with our strongest spells, it may take us at least two minutes to break through.
Slytherin hissed to his Basilisk. “Don’t underestimate my strength. I intend to obliterate them in less than one minute.”
Inside of the shield the teachers were sweating profusely, keeping their wand raised and not even daring to light up the dark space. “This barrier would hold up against any normal wizards, but these are the legendary founders. I can’t imagine it will last very long.” Flitwick informed them.
“We’re finished” moaned Slughorn. “We’ll die for sure. We’ll…”
“Stop groveling!” Mcgonagall snapped. “We must pull through. Hogwarts depends on us. I have an idea. It will take some time though. Try to hold out until then.
Fred and George held out their wands steadily, gazing wearily at the Prewett Brothers. “Who are these two do you reckon?” Whispered Fred.
“No idea” said George Nervously.
Gideon and Fabian raised their wands. “Run quickly” said Fabian sternly. “We can’t stop ourselves from attacking. Two children like you stand no chance against us.”
“Yeah, right. Like we’re gonna run. Fat chance!” George said angrily.
“They remind me of ourselves at that age” Gideon said wistfully to his brother. “We were young and reckless too and it got us in a lot of trouble.”
“Yeah well trouble is what we excel at” said Fred.
“Fred, George!” someone shouted behind them. The twins turned to see Percy running towards them.
“What are you doing here, Perce?” asked Fred.
“Helping you guys out. You’ll need it. These are Uncle Gideon and Fabian. I recognize them. They died when you both were two years old.”
“Percy? Percy Weasley?” Asked Gideon, shocked.
“Then these two are little Fred and George” moaned Fabian. “Please run, I beg of you. If we kill Molly’s children, I’ll never be able to face her again.”
“No way” said Percy. “I’ve done enough running away. I’m isck and tired of running from my problems.” He raised his wand. “The Weasley’s will be the ones to seal you.”
“Wow Percy!” said Fred, impressed.”
“Spoken like a true Weasley “ agreed George.
“I would expect no less from Molly’s children. She was always fierce.” Gideon said Sadly.
“Oh no” screamed Fabian. The Prewett brothers raised their wands and fired jinxes at the Weasley brothers who jumped out of the way. All three of them shot their own spells at the Prewetts who blocked them with a wave of their wands.
“Remember they can’t be killed” Percy reminded his brothers. “We need to incapacitate them long enough so I can perform a sealing spell.”
“Don’t worry” Fred grinned. “We’ve got a few tricks up our sleeve.”
The shrieking shack was considered terrifying at anytime. But with the full moon casting dark and menacing shadows, and with The Dark Lord standing there and looking Malevolent, Lucius was absolutely terrified.
“It is going well” Voldemort whispered in a satisfied way. “The forces of Hogwarts are overwhelmed.
“We Death Eaters will make sure you are victorious” Lucius stammered.
Voldemort laughed a high, cold laugh that made Lucius shudder uncontrollably. “You Death Eaters have failed me time and time again. It is my undead army which is bringing me my victory. And this is only the beginning."
“The beginning, my lord?”
“Oh yes, the Edo Tensei soldiers are phase one. It helps that almost all of my enemies are gathered at Hogwarts for my Edos to defeat. But this will by me enough time for the next stage in the proceedings. My enemies will be too busy battling my immortal army to interrupt me as I prepare for the conquest of the wizarding world. Once my trump card is complete, not only Britain, but the Wizards of all Nations will tremble in Fear as my reign begins. Now go, Lucius. Send Severus to me.”
