1. That giant motha fuka would've taken an hour to bring out especially considering he probably hasn't used it in like 15 years.

2. His kids' life was on the line. What parent would half heartedly try and protect their kid? Some may say even if he failed to bring susanoo he could have still blocked them; but at what risk? One of the knives could have gotten past him and stabbed Sarada.

I think it has something to do with Shin-Leader using Sasuke's own sword against Naruto.

Weird subject, but does evil intent sensing work on non-living objects such as swords? I would think regular sensing (like regular shinobi senses) works that way, but neither Naruto/Sasuke realized the sword was there until after it happened.

That's exactly my point: the subject is very messed up, so agruments like "there was no ill intent so Naruto wasn't able to sense it" are very not thought through to say the least, for any argument like that there can be a few counters, and we can't say anything for sure until it's explained in the manga in detailed manner.

His Katana fly toward Naruto's abdomen where Sasuke not managed to stop it. His arm is shown to swung to the back toward Naruto. That Katana not warp/teleport into Naruto's abdomen but fly very fast in short distance.

Its like you arm get pull by Bansho Tenin.

Sasuke could have easily put susanoo on his back even. Alive madara put susanoo on his arm in like seconds to stop tobirama's attack.
