Thanos is going to be the villain in Avengers 3. He's the master manipulator behind the Marvel movie universe. He's going to be in Guardians of the Galaxy, but he isn't the main villain, his general is. He'll be working behind the scenes in this one too, and he may be featured in Avengers 2. Maybe.
