I don't understand the reasoning towards the Infinite Tsukuyomi from the view point of Madara Uchiha.

If he casts the Infinite Tsukuyomi, isn't he the only one left standing in the real world. Wouldn't he become lonely and depressed if he stayed in the real world alone ?

If he entered the dream reality of the Infinite Tsukuyomi, as the one who has cast the IT he would be aware that that dream reality is nothing but a Genjutsu ( and if we follow the known human psychiatry ) and the fact the IT is infinite, knowing that, eventually Uchiha Madara would leave the dream reality of the IT and go to the real world where once again the consequences of the first scenario appear.

That leaves a possibility towards another scenario, where Madara Uchiha erases the knowledge of the IT and is enslaved by the IT, and with it his capabilities of having control of the activities inside the dream reality of the IT are lost. And from the displayed I simply cannot imagine Uchiha Madara allowing such a scenario where he is not in control.

So, what was Uchiha Madara's plan for himself in the scenario where the "Eye of the Moon" plan was achieved accordingly to his original plan...
What happens with Uchiha Madara after that ?

He was willing to sacrifice his happiness and was going to put everybody else in an eternal dream.

Madara was not given a full explanation of IT, he was cursed for plot's sake.

I mean did he think people were stuck in the dream forever and what happened when they died in their dream? did they just relive their life or something or they all die irl and the human race goes extinct.

Madara was willing to sacrifice his own happiness for the greater good of the world. What a guy. :score:

Infinite Tsukuyomi is supposed to put people into their perfect, ideal dream world. In what perfect world would the dreamer die? :wut:

The Shinju keeps the victims alive in order to harvest chakra. If people are cut down from the branches, another one immediately grows out to catch them. I think it would be fairly difficult for them to die in reality with a God Tree protecting their body at all times.

IT was an excuse for him to rule over shinobi with no limit. He knew people wouldn't bend over to him after Uchiha turned their backs on him.

Infinite Tsukiyomi? You mean infinite plot excuse to have a rematch with Hashirama?

One explanation is that the IT we were shown in the manga was not the same as Madara originally explained it to Obito.

In Madara's explanation, he would create the perfect world and pull everyone into his imagined world. He'd obviously be able to live the life he wanted in that world.

However, when IT actually happened, everyone simply had their own dream and did not all share one with the caster.

So.... either Madara lied to Obito and just wanted to rule a world with no resistance or Kishi changed how he wanted IT portrayed.

BZ lied to both of them

how can you not understand when various characters already explained that whoever uses IT gets to be lord and master of everyone's dream?

You've misunderstood the point of the entire thread. Your answer is not the subject of discussion which I intended to impose.
To collaborate and help you get into direction I'll use your answer as an example of what I wanted to ask.
What is Uchiha Madara going to do afterwards. IT is infinite ( = No End ). Is he going to control the IT for infinity ? It makes no sense, eventually his mind will decay, and even if it doesn't decay he will be fed up with it, because IT is after all INFINITE and he will no longer be capable or not willing of controlling the IT dream reality and will be forced to stay in the real world, where he will be alone forever.
