Tobi is without a doubt,half Uchiha and half 'Dark Zetsu'.

And my findings move me to believe that Madara is a 'empty shell' of his former self while Zetsu is the substinance that fills this shell.

Now we just need to prove that Madara is who he says he is.After the last chapter I now believe he is none other then Madara.And Kabutos last summon is Hashirama.The biggest reasoning for Madara being scared is that he knows Kabuto has perfected Edo Tensei.I believe when Kabuto summons someone they aren't as when Oro used it.They are at almost full capacity.And to add to the fun,Kabuto won't just make him fight like Oro foolishly did.He would use Hashirama to claim Gedo Mazo for himself and ruin Madaras plans.That is why Madara cut a deal with him.because he knows Kabuto could seriously hurt his plans if he wanted to.but what Kabuto is really after....is a Zetsu for himself....and Sasuke.he would have all the powers he controls,and EMS sharingan,Sasukes strong body,a Zetsu that contains the 1sts cells and much more,and the power and knowledge to become all powerfull and together him and Madara would be immortal rulers over the world.

Personally I thought "Tobi" was using a zetsu body about 2 weeks ago I think...I started a thread with some pictures about Madaras limbs looking slimy etc like zetsu.

But about the Coffin I dont think its Hashirama as here

the dialogue would be different if Madara knew Hashirama was already captured and being used in Impure World Ressurection then Madara wouldnt have said "well, not quite that dramatic"

Personally I think in the Coffin IS Madara Uchiha.

I'm not saying TOBI isnt Madara I'm just saying somehow Madara's Body is dead (this relates to Zetsu using his clones to "house" Madara) and because his body is dead Kabuto can use Impure World Resssurection to summon him.

i dnt really like the idea that Tobi would be half Dark Zetsu, i would believe that some part of his body is a Zetsu body part.. I would also believe that the only thing that is left of Madara is his Eyes..

but I just think that it would be a suky twist.

Why would Minato force Madara to agree to Kabuto's terms?

And why would it scare him?

And Oro already tried to summon the 4th against the 3rd Hokage and I dont think Kishi would use that card twice and not show the coffin.

And personally I think Madara is:

Madara Uchiha's Yin (Spiritual part of his soul)
And a White Zetsu for his body.

We have only seen I believe White Zetsu mulitply maybe Black Zetsu has another technique instead of multiple clones.

I don't believe Madara is simply using Zetsu to replace arms. In the new chapter, Madara shows Kabuto his culture of Hashirama. But if you look closely at page 10 of chapter 512 you can see that there are also arms growing alongside the 1st's body. Now if you look on page 5 of chapter 486, when Madara replaces his arm he is standing in front of a plant that resembles the plant that the 1st is growing from. I believe that this explains how Madara aquired the ability to use Izanagi, and also re-opens the possibility of Madara being a Zetsu clone.

Madara was defeated by Hashirama

Um.. that may no longer be the case thanks to what Madara said...

I'll have to search for it but he basically said that he led the world to believe he was defeated by Hashirama. While it could be a lie, the fact that Madara is still alive and was able to collect cells from Hashirama means that there really wasn't as clear a winner as we were led to believe originally.

I've always wondered why there were two statues at the valley of the end and not just one. They wanted to depict an epic clash where both lives were taken is my guess.

I think that in the end, Hashirama believed that he defeated Madara, but it took his life to do so or Zetsu must have been around at that time and used his body to keep Madara alive.

This is a battle that Madara would not have taken lightly and if he had an ace in his pocket like Zetsu, that would have been a trump card for Madara as well as the perfect reason to challenge someone like Hashirama to a one on one battle.

I don't think for one second that Madara would fight fair in a situation like that. Lure Hashirama into a one on one battle where you have something up your sleeve to turn the tide is my guess..

Dude, that was just shade to put more attention on Madara's eye and not revealing more of his face.
Basically just to show he in fact has 2 sharingan eyes instead of 1 as was widely believed by some.
It also adds to the evil ''shock'' effect.
Not to mention the eye itself is shadowed as well.
