Give it up. It was given to Nagato and not awakened. Its possible that Madara placed a seal that activated the Rinnegan that was given to him triggering the activation based on emotions,age, or who knows...We all just have to face the obvious. Didnt he just ask Tobi about Nagato recently with Tobi replying, "HE BETRAYED US."
Ask yourself "why would Madara who's been out for some time and just recently ressurected ask about Nagato?? To say "what's up?" Did he owe Madara money and is now trying to collect??

Exactly as long as you die with your eyes then someone takes them after your dead then that person is edo summoned they would of multiples of the same eyes

yes... not considering edo tensi i think there is only 1 pair of rinnengan, else considering edo tensi we have 3 pairs of the same rinnengan eyes and 2 pairs of the same itachi's eyes

one is the actual madara's which is given to Nagato and then to Tobi. the other one is the edo madara's. but all of them come from madara.
Like Itachi that his real eyes are with sasuke and his edo's had seperate eyes.

and another thing... nagato didnt know abt the real madara, tobi introduced himself as madara cause when itachi and nagato were brought back using edo tensi they still addressed tobi as madara.. and thus i think that pein didnt know that he had to ressurect madara
