The anime just redeemed itself in my eyes...

... with today episode.
I throught that the anime studio didn't give a shit about the anime anymore, so they half-assed the Yota story just to make some filler.
I found it odd in the new episodes that the Yota boy had black sclerae when he was alive too, i just throught "i guess they don't give a shit anymore so they don't even bother making him look different as an edo".
I throught it was just an error and they didn't bother to fix it (like they did with Zabuza in one of the first war episodes), even tho in my heart i made a prediction that maybe Yota was an edo all along.

Today my prediction came true.
Even tho i hate filler as much as you guys, this episode was awesome. We got to see Oro and Kabuto again, and also they showed us that they still somewhat care about continuity by explaining why Yota didn't look any different when alive.
And the next episodes look even greater, next one looks like will show us more background about Kabuto DNA recovery for the Edos. (I can't wait to see human Kabuto again before he absorbed Oro)

I can't wait for Madara like you guys, but just throught about making a nice filler thread for a change.

I can assure that i was mad like you when i discovered that June would have fillers as well...
I "wanted to smash my head onto a wall". And after seeing the stupid Yota episodes i throught "that's it **** it, they don't even bother making edos look different anymore!, i won't watch this crap anymore", but today they at least showed they still care about it.

Now i'm much more happier, i know that when Madara comes in July it will look amazing, in the meantime i will gladly watch the filler, and i still have to catch up with my other animes as well, so i say let's just chill.

And when the anime ends, you will be able to skip all the filler anyway so who cares. So we can decide if we want to watch it or not.

The fillers can be as good as they want, the anime won't redeem itself for me until all the actual plot-episodes stop having such ****ing lazy, boring animation and start looking like the "Power" arc that happened a few months ago. That may have been completely irrelevant filler, but I loved watching it because the animation was great and the fights were dynamic and exciting... the way they should be.

Wrong. Chikara was better than most actual arcs, whole episode fillers aren't always gems but expansion flashbacks and episodes add so much more to the show (Deidara's escape, curry of life, bigger pain/naruto, danzo/sasuke and jiraiya/pain fights)

I agree that they did pay attention to the Edo and all that . But in my eyes the anime is screwed up right now , with all of these fillers , they're in over their head . They should just do a hiatus untill we can go canon again . I found quite a few mistakes in the latest fillers .
The old fillers ware way better (some of them) , like the one with that Crystal-style user chick , and the Adventures at sea arc (wich was my favourite shippuuden filler arc ) . Oh well . Let's just hope we get to canon soon , and that the anime will become decent again . I'm just glad we still have great manga .
