Here are all the former Swordsmen and Raiga is apart of them.

I'm liking the two Unknown Swordsmen so far.

He was only shown in the Anime and wasn't shown in Manga until Recently.
- Raiga was a Member of the Seven Swordsmen at some point and was a wielder of the Kiba Swords. He probably ended up disliking the Swordsmen of The Mist and then left the group all together.

This proves that Anime can be Cannon, so I don't wanna hear "Anime isn't Cannon" because it can be.
- Nuff said.

I already made this thread. It's in the anime section. Similar title, similar sarcastic tone.

In theory it can be canon, but you can't assume it's always canon, so it still can't be used as proof. By the way, the anime contradicts the manga many times.

The databook contradicts the manga, even the manga contradicts the manga. Do we say those aren't canon? Obviously not. In my opinion if the anime fills in missing details or adds things realistic to and consistent with the plot, it should be considered "canon".

No. The canon information regarding Naruto only comes from the Manga itself, or the content Kishimoto affirms as Canon.

Just because anime characters are then implemented into the story does not justify the entirety of that anime section, or the entirety of the anime as canon.

For instance, Naruto vs Pain in the anime is not presented the same way as it is in the manga. Thus, you cannot suddenly supersede the anime version over the manga version.

The best example of this concept is One Piece Film Z. The character Zephyr is a confirmed canon character by Oda. However, the events in the movie are not canon... they did not happen in the story. All that is canon about Zephyr is his history, and name as a character.

It's simple.

Did Kishi conceive and write it?
If yes, then it's cannon, if no, it's not.

I disagree. The only reason the manga or databooks can be considered canon is because Kishi wrote them. Fillers are nothing more than glorified fanfiction.

I don't see a problem with fillers or the anime as a whole even if kishi doesn't write it doesn't meant that it can't be considered to be relevant. Most long lasting storylines are often revamped or rewritten and it all is considered when discussing it as a whole

Fillers cause the ratings of the anime to plummet. Furthermore they often are disgraceful, such as the ninja ostrich filler. They rarely make sense and often contradict canon.

I never said all Anime is.
I'm just saying you shouldn't assume it's not cannon when The Anime shows a character's background or a character's extra powers. I hate how when it showed Kiba's extra powers taking down the three Rashomon Gates and some people acknowledged that, but others still said it's not canon, like seriously? Give Kiba is cool points on that one.

Some people even denied Nagato's Diverse Ninjutsu in Anime to be "not canon".

Anime is non-cannon until shown in Manga. The same way Minato was not considered to have Shadow Clones until explicitly shown in the manga recently.

The character existing in the manga doesn't mean the whole filler arc is cannon.

All anime is spinoff until proven canon.

So it was never canon in the first place.

IT is now canon now that the manga has incorporated it.

That sigm

Ot kishi lazy

What is lazy about drawing one character over another?

Also, this should make Sasori Fans shut up, they use the argument that he beat an entire nation, in the anime they showed at it was a tiny nation and he barely took over 1 fort.

Fist of all, that doesn't mean any of Sasori's anime scenes are cannon.

Secondly, what episode?

Look at that shit.
First it was just, "Anime is non-connon." until Kishi decided to put Raiga in Manga to make you guys change up.

You shouldn't say Anime isn't cannon at all in the first place.
Anime can help you understand some characters and their abilities a lot more.
- It's just the dumb stuff and pointless Fillers you should ignore.
