The anime is no longer the naruto i used to enjoy

This is just my opinion and i guess people will have different views on it but to me the anime hasn't been the same...especially recently the fights have lots of flash to them but none of the intensity that the first part had for me the last truly great fights occured somewhere in the pain arc....maybe it's because the only people we see fight now are naruto and sasuke and naruto has lost the ability to become a raging beast which in my opinion was awesome.....but hey maybe it's just me

It's not just the fighting ,the hilariously funny parts are gone,the episodes just seem like they were rushed and they tried to cram as much as they can into an episode

I'm sure you'll agree that lee vs gaara was pretty good,so was gaara vs kimimaro.....i know they're the main characters but it gets old seeing the same skill set over and over especially when 90% of this consists of a particular person yelling rasen-something over and over again.....i guess it started from the manga but it's much more noticeable in the anime

I don't watch the anime simply because
1. Animation isn't great, alot of derpy facial expressions and moments here and there
2. Way too behind the manga, I'd be watching the damn thing and playing catch-up until the planet ends
3. I'm only in it for the story ending, and the character developments.

All in all, not worth the time.

OT: I'm still enjoying the anime. Maybe the animation quality isn't always top notch, but anime surely had some epic episodes recently. Once it returns from the filler arc things will get really intense... with all the things which are going to happen.

The only bad thing about the manga is that it is released once in a week and we dont know when it'll last. probably 10 more years.
