Yeah, unless something else similar comes out like soon, it will take a hit in popularity.

Westerns from my experience don't like manga as much as anime. So which ever anime airs on Toonami and becomes a big name.. will be the one to replace Naruto.

TOONAMI was a big reason in the turn over to anime.

You're right op. It won't die off because I've been watching anime even before naruto and I'm sure others here are the same but if naruto doesn't get a good ending then I imagine people's perception of anime as a whole won't be good and won't pursue other anime like they did naruto or dbz

the thing is it will be very difficult because in the 90's no one had internet we where forced to watch it on tv because we had no other choice and that made us like it till this day.90 kids spread the word.

Nope, anime and manga as a booming industry is here to stay, it will go out of business just as fast as the video game industry will go (as in never in our lifetime). Toonami was jumped started back in 2012 and hasn't looked back ever since, growing each and every month in ratings, services such as Crunchyroll and Funimation grow more prosperous with each passing quarter, and anime in general is still becoming more popular thanks to the help of the internet and social media. Anime is a big industry, one that won't die due to the ending of one ongoing series.

I dont think so most people in the west were introduced to Anime and manga from dbz and naruto. Most people who watch these or read them read other manga as well.
