Kenshin travelled for some time, at the request of the Uchiha clan of whom he had been separated from for quite some time. He was summoned to train a young Uchiha in the use of the clan's doujutsu, as a way for Kenshin to both reconnect with the clan and to strengthen his own Doujutsu.
He was instructed to meet his student in training field, just outside of Konoha. Initially unsure of who his student might be, it became apparent Kenshin's student was the girl eagerly awaiting him; though she tried to contain her excitement, Kenshin was able to see a small glimpse of her true feelings. Good morning, you must be Kimi-san. It seems I am to be your teacher, to help you unlock and guide you in the use of your Sharingan. Kenshin politely spoke as he approached the girl, a calming and pleasant smile on his face. When you are ready, I guess we can get started by you telling me what you know of our clan's Doujutsu?
Kenshin-sama the sharingan is a special dojustu that grants the user the ability to see chakra networks, mimic other shinobi, and allow the user to release genjustu with ease, but I've heard that it can only be unlocked.... through great pain. Kimi's eyes darkened for a second before lightening up again. Kimi walked up to the slender tall man and seemed to analyze him as if checking out his strength. Ummm Kenshin-sama your not going to beat me up right? Like all the other sharangan teachers do to their students. She asked in an innocent cute voice. Her eyes completely staring into Kenshin's like a young kitten.
Kenshin was impressed, not only about her knowledge of the Sharingan and how it is most commonly awakened, but also by her natural instinct to size up a potential opponent. That may be what we have to do Kimi-san. The stress of being in a fight you can't win, does tend to be the best way to awaken the Sharingan. Kenshin patted Kimi on the head before taking a few step past where she was standing. Let's see if we can avoid that for the moment. How about you tell me something about yourself. You see, I am curious as to why you want to awaken your sharingan. Most have a reason or a purpose for gaining strength, and for one as young as yourself to be seeking it, that reason must be deeply ingrained in your persona. Kenshin kept his back turned on Kimi during this speech, only turning to once again meet Her gaze once he was finished. His face still holding the calm and warm expression he had held since the beginning of the lesson.
Kimi watched Kenshin walk right past her while asking about her, his back turned toward her gave her the message this man was very confident in his power, fighting this man would be a complete loss on her end. With the thought of battle with this man removed she instead decided to play with this mans terms maybe she might be able to talk to him a little longer and get some information out of him. I want to awaken the sharinagn because, I know if I don't, I wont be able to find Kiru and bring him back. Kimi said in a happy voice holding back the determination in her voice. Kiru is my older brother, he left in search for my father, I don't know if he is alive or dead, so I have to find him to conform he is alive, he is... Kimi voice seemed to crack for a bit. He is my only family I got apart from Essen. Kimi smiled when she said this she, was ripped apart. She wanted to find their father as well, she wanted to find who killed there mother, she wanted to Hurt something, a feeling she had held in for years. Kimi smiled the same warm smile as Kenshin did.

Kimi was young, her emotions were quite easy for an Adult to read, even without a Sharingan. The turmoil inside of her as she spoke of her family, revealed to Kenshin how he would press Kimi to awaken her Sharingan. Kenshin would step with his left foot, turning to face Kimi; as he did so, a sinister pressure would envelope Kimi and Kenshin projected his Killing Intent towards her, paralysing her with fear. You say you need the sharingan to find and bring your brother back? Kenshin's pleasant tone had taken a drastic turn, it was now stern and cold to match the narrow gaze now adorning his face. Even if you could awaken it, you do not seem capable enough. You are weak. So weak that I doubt you will be able to leave this training field, let alone move from that spot. I can see it, the fear in your eyes, the doubt behind them. All well placed as I see you now, trembling in fear of but one man. Many more will stand before you, why are you letting this one before you stop you from your quest? Kenshin paused for a moment, maintaining focus on his Killing Intent to keep Kimi worn down. His plan was to emotionally taunt her into fighting back, to the point where her Sharingan might awaken and to show Kenshin she was worthy of the Doujutsu. If you don't do something, your Kiru will die, Essen will die... and you will never know the truth about your Father. Most likely, you will also condemn him to death along with the rest of your family. Unless you can stand and prove me wrong? Kenshin's tone became harsher and darker as he continued his verbal assault on Kimi.
OOC: Okay so the aim of this is for you to RP in kind to this, you'll be able to break out of the Killing Intent but try to RP the emotional state of your character. If you're stuck for ideas on how to break the killing intent, think about Sasuke in the Chuunin Exams, Forest of Death stage when Orochimaru used this on him. What you do after you break the Killing Intent is up to you, but I'm aiming to bait you into attacking me. If you do fight back, limit your use of Elemental Ninjutsu and remember to keep track of your chakra; a good habit to get into and I'll be able to use that for later stages of your training, since we can get you up to 3T in the same thread if you're the correct rank. ^^
Also, since you're two ranks lower than me, I'll put in bold the effects of the Killing Intent just so you know what would happen in an actual RP fight. I'll be less strict here about breaking it than if this were a real fight.

Description: Killing Intent pertains to the ability of the user giving off their pure killing intention and having it affect their opponent and others around them up to the point of paralyzing them. When the Killing Intent is particularly strong, it can even give the victim visions of their own gruesome death, nausea, pain, etc. This can cause the Killing Intent to be confused with a genjutsu, despite not being a genjutsu at all; simply a showcase of intention and power. The target will feel as if facing an overwhelming enemy and, even if not a sensor, will suddenly feel the pressure of the users chakra and its magnitude, making the effect that much more dramatic. To effectively be used, the user needs to focus on his target and concentrate on the killing intent towards it, meaning that one must see the target and be focused on it. The strength of the Killing Intent is dependent on many factors and go through several levels. If a difference in rank smaller than 2 ranks exist, the enemy will feel only the pressure and the ominous presence of their dark intentions. Its enough to lose your grasp on a weapon or stay clinched to it (depending on the situation) or even to hesitate in an attack, stumble or mess up a handseal, all depending on the situation and proximity. The effect is small and normally not that significant but can be effectively used to pressure enemies into making a mistake. If a difference of 2 ranks or more exist, the enemy will be frozen, almost unable to move as the overwhelming killing intent dominates their own conscious and riddles them with nightmarish versions of death. The paralyzation gradually weakens as time passes and can only be maintained while the user is focused on the target. The further away the target, the weaker it is and it can only fully paralyze a target within short range. Similarly, the more targets one focuses on, the weaker the effect is in each one (divinding the effects equally between the number of targets). Lastly, the stronger the user is in relation to the target, the stronger the effect will be. The target can counter Killing Intent directed at it through pain, "mind cleansing" techniques or their own Killing Intent.

It was like Kenshins whole character had changed, his friendly aura that he radiated was gone and a dark and evil intent had taken over. His expression cold and very dark, it sent shivers up Kimi's spine, she had a sick feeling in her stomach. The question he asked summarized up the whole reason for Kimi even coming here, but hearing him say it to her made her feel more doubting of her goal. As if her attaining the sharangan to get her brother back was a dream she could never reach, a dream that would be put down like all her dreams of the past. The words he spoke next: "Even if you could awaken it, you do not seem capable enough. You are weak. So weak that I doubt you will be able to leave this training field, let alone move from that spot. I can see it, the fear in your eyes, the doubt behind them. All well placed as I see you now, trembling in fear of but one man. Essen had told her to become stronger too, like this man had said, Kimi had told herself to become stronger to, she wanted to become stronger, she wanted to not be afraid. The feeling this stronger man had sent toward her had destroyed this feeling of strength, he had obliterated her feeling of determination, just like Essen did.
"If you don't do something, your Kiru will die, Essen will die... and you will never know the truth about your Father. Most likely, you will also condemn him to death along with the rest of your family. Unless you can stand and prove me wrong?" Like a cat catches a mouse, these words caught Kimi. The deepest fear she had, deep within her was the fear of her family's death. Kimi's eyes darkened, her mind went blank, the fear intent Kenshin was releasing onto her was lost in her hollow mind. Kimi's facial emotions had changed from the bigging of Kenshins words, from anger at his question, to sadness at his first statement, and into hollow emptiness from his last sentence. Kimi was more then broken, she was more then shattered, she was dispersed, fragmented into hollow sadness and realization. It had always dawned on Kimi that she was worthless. She could only think positive and cry, thats what Essen and Kiru saw within her thats what her father and mother saw within her. Kiru had left because of this fact, right? Essen had made her relive the memory of that day, because he wanted to change her, right? Her mother was Killed because of this fact, right! Kimi took it all upon her self to change this fact, the way her life turned out was because she was worthless. Yes, it was because of this! A different song sang within her hollow head. No longer the same happy positive song her mother had always sang. A song of utter hate for her family, a utter hate of Kenshin, a utter hate of this wretched world that gave her a horrible life. A new kind of positivity sprung up within Kimi, a new kind of objective, Kimi was going to achieve positivity, Kimi was going to achieve a complete positive life once she killed every last person on this negative planet: Kimi was going to become The Angel of Positivity in this Negative Planet.
The Killing intent Kenshin released was useless, Kimi didn't care anymore if she died, she didn't care if he died, or if this whole world died, she was going to kill it all herself anyway. With such a motive the Killing intent became weak upon Kimi's own intent, her intent of absulote death had taken over. Kimi walked to Kenshin, with her usual happy and cute face. While looking at him with a happy face and saying in sincere nice soft words, "Shinu Negative" she did three hand signs and punched Kenshin with a lighting fist, unleashing the lightning in the form of a localized electrical explosion, scorching the grown man in the stomach.

A momentary phase of intrigue washed over Kenshin as he watched her regain control over her body and senses, the Killing Intent was clearly no longer working as Kenshin's physiological jabs had appeared to stuck the mark. As Kimi motioned to punch Kenshin with her lightning coated fist, a glimmer of red from Kimi's eyes could be noticed, however Kenshin wasn't able to waste time at this moment. Dropping to the ground on his right knee, Kenshin would use his left hand to slap at Kimi's attacking arm; aiming above the elbow to cause her arm to jolt upwards, causing the lightning to discharge harmlessly into the air above Kenshin's head. Kenshin would then grab Kimi's arm in this same place to stop any further actions.

Excellent! Kenshin would exclaim, his demeanour returning to the kind state it was at the beginning of the training session. While still kneeling, gazing directly into Kimi's eyes, Kenshin had the time he needed to confirm what he saw earlier. Hehe, it would seem that you have unlocked your Sharingan, Kimi-san. Kenshin would release his grip from Kimi and stand up, taking a few steps backwards as he did. Try and feel the chakra you have coursing through your eyes, take a deep breath and allow that chakra to fade away. Then when you are ready, try to concentrate chakra back into your eye to re-activate your sharingan. It is by no means complete, only a single Tomoe, but it is a good start. Well done young Kimi-san. Kenshin would finish with a warm smile on his face, in praise of what his young student had accomplished. I must apologise for the method I chose to force an activation, but it was better than starting a sparring match this early on in the training.

One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. Kimi was surprised at her resolve and at Kenshins actions. Her deepest feelings had leaked and she had lost control of her hand, no her whole body, it seemed to move on its own, but easily enough Shina was able to to deflect her attack, and put her back in her class. As Kenshin congratulated her about the activation of the sharingan Kimi wasn't so happy, she understood what happened to her. As her eyes lit up red so did her dark Negative feelings, the sharingan activation was like a swarm of darkness that engulfed her when she activated it. She didn't like it the way felt, in fact Kimi could lie about the way she felt about her sharingan, but deeply inside she liked the feeling she had gotten when she activated it. The feeling was like bathing in a nice warm soothing bathtub, and slowly sinking in deep. After Kenshin had finished talking, Kimi seemed to zone back into focus. She had to tell Kenshin she didn't like the sharingan if it only brought out the Negative inside of her... This world needs less Negative the it already has. Kenshin-senpia... I d- don't like the sharingan, when I activated it, I felt the sudden need to kill someone... something, if this is what the sharingan brings, then, then even as a Uchiha, I Don't Want Anything To Do With The Sharingan!

Kenshin closed his eyes for a brief moment, chuckling to himself as he did so before opening his eyes to reveal his Three Tomoe Sharingan. I understand your feelings in this matter, Kimi-san. However, it is only the first few activations that will make you feel this way. The initial activation is for one reason or another, a burden for ones mental state as most likely the Sharingan would have activated by some form of life or death event or in a similar method to yourself; through mental stress that triggered a past and horrific memory. Kenshin's expression, despite having his Sharingan active, was not strained or forced but his natural, calm self. By the end of this training, activating your sharingan will be second nature for you... though it may be a little draining on your chakra if you keep it active for great lengths of time. How about you try activating your eyes again? However this time, focus on steady, deep breaths and close your eyes. On the third exhale, direct your chakra to your eyes before you open them. That should be the calmest and easiest way to re-activate until it becomes second nature for you. Kenshin continued to keep his sharingan active, hopefully having a person an ease with their own activate sharingan would help Kimi get through the initial stages of her training.
