Looks
Kanu is an incredibly attractive young girl with dark purple hair (black in some lights) which is tied back in an extremely long ponytail reaching down almost to the ground. Her hair features two bangs, one on either side of her head which frame the sides of her face and stretch down to her chest. She has radiant blue eyes and stands roughly 5' 8 inches tall. An incredibly busty girl Kanu likes to use her looks to get one up on her opponents and usually wears fairly revealing clothing to back up this trait. the main attire she is seen with is her school uniform from her early teens, this consists of a yellow and blue neck tie over a white button up shirt which is too small for her body and shows of her stomach, as well as a short blue mini skirt. The outfit is complete with knee high white socks and brown shoes, she also wears fingerless gloves, although their color varies.
Another known attire of Kanu's is worn mainly for training and consists of bandages wrapped tightly around her chest (sometimes replaced by a navy blue boob tube top) and red tracksuit bottoms, as well as the usual fingerless gloves and shoes. If the boob tube is worn then she tends to change her tracksuit bottoms to match. Kanu always carries with her the 'Blue Dragon Crescent Blade'. A double sided silver spear with a crescent blade at one end, the crescent blade appears to emerge from a sculpted dragons head.

Personality
During her time in the juvenile facility, Kanu got into a lot of fights and eventually learnt to greatly enjoy them, this passion developed into her becoming an extremely skilled fighter. Being very beautiful and charming, Kanu is capable of using her beauty to get wherever she wants to be. However Kanu is also very manipulative and even has a slightly sadistic streak, known to enjoy watching her victims squirm. She is cold, calculating and highly intelligent. Kanu's loyalty knows no bounds and despite being often over-confident she cares deeply for her village and lives to protect all inside it..

Background Information
Kanu was born in Kirigakure into the Yuki clan. For most of her childhood she was led to believe that her mother had died when she was 5 years old, in a freak accident and she had been raised by her father since. What had in fact happened is that her mother had tried to commit suicide and take Kanu with her, by drowning the pair in the ocean together, this act led to Kanu's father sending her mother away, deeming her unfit to look after their child. Shortly after leaving her mother ended up in a hospital for the mentally ill.
One summer, her father decided to get a beach house in a small village just outside of Kirigakure for their summer vacations. It was in this holiday home that her life truly began to change. Whilst out one day gathering food, her father met the extremely wealthy woman from next door and began talking to her, the two grew very close and Kanu's father was given a job working for the womans husband. Whilst working for the couple however, Kanu's father grew ever closer to the woman and over the following weeks Kanu began to see the woman frequently as she sneaked into and out of their home before returning to her family home.
One fateful night, Kanu was about to play with her dog, Sammy, when a group of ninja busted into their house and arrested her father for being in league with a wanted group of rogue ninja. As she was dragged ruthlessly from her home and separated from her father her eyes catch sight of the woman, standing alongside her husband as her lover and his daughter are dragged away into the darkness, her face emotionless and uncaring. After being taken from her father Kanu's dad was put on trial and was found guilty of his supposed crimes and was sentenced to life imprisonment. Following this judgement Kanu was made to live in care by order of her psychiatrist, who had been bribed by the woman next door to make sure Kanu never saw her father again.
With this decision made Kanu was sent to live in a foster home alongside four other children. Whilst living in care she became a very quiet girl, her constant missing her father and her disbelief with what he had done completely changed her as a person, the girl who was once so carefree and happy was unable to force a smile. Although in such bad mental health Kanu stayed in the home for a considerable amount of time, living under the strict rules of her foster mother. Her foster mother was stern and unrelenting with the children, unafraid to use any means necessary to keep them in order, she was also known to deliver extreme punishments for the most minor of mishaps. This side of her foster mother forced Kanu into her shell and caused her to forget the happiness she had once known. Kanu from this point on spent most of her time hiding from her foster mother, being as quiet and as lonely as she could be for safety. Aged sixteen, after many years of the same routine one of the children in the home lost control of his emotions and set a fire in the house whilst the mother was away, the children all escaped but the house was burnt to cinders and when her foster mother returned the boy blamed the fire on Kanu, even planting evidence in order to frame her for his actions. Unable to clear her name Kanu was sentenced to two years in a juvenile prison.

Whilst in the Juvenile maximum security facility, Kanu met a girl, her roommate. At first, the two are very hostile towards one another but, upon the prison wardens advice, eventually Kanu decides to befriend the girl deciding that she needs at least one person in the world whom she can look to and trust in, most of the two years in the facility Kanu spent developing her relationship with the girl and discussing their plans for when they were released.
During her time in the prison, the prison warden had taken Kanu under her wing, she looked after and taught her the basics of the real world, how to survive and make a living as well as the art of blade combat. When eventually she was released from the center, Kanu handed the a necklace, and she promised that she would return for her some day. Upon receiving the necklace the girl gave Kanu a hug, and said "I love you", showing that the bond they had formed was strong and that she truly loved her cell mate, thinking of her like a sister. Also, The warden gave her a note detailing the whereabouts of a man named Azazel, a powerful ninja whom she believed would offer Kanu training, saying that although giving her this information, she hoped that Kanu did choose to follow that path. On top of this the warden arranged that Kanu be given a spear type weapon, the 'Blue Dragon Crescent Blade', a blade with dragon head decal.
After training with Azazel, Kanu returned to hr home in Kirigakure to start anew.

Ice Release: As a member of the Yuki clan Kanu is able to create Ice as well as manipulate pre-existing ice in order to perform techniques with.
Blue Dragon Crescent Blade: Kanu carries this weapon with her wherever she goes. It is a spear like silver pole with a crescent shaped blade on one end. The blade comes from a decorative sculpture of a dragons head which is moulded onto the long handle of the weapon. The blade is double ended and has a sharp point, much like an ordinary spear on the opposite end to the crescent blade. The weapon can be seen below.
