The Ancient Weapons

In the series, there are three ancient weapons with the name of Greek gods; Pluton, Poseidon, and Uranus. They have the power to bring the world to ruins, or so it is claimed. As we already know the identity of Poseidon, I’m going to talk about the two remaining weapons of mass destruction, Pluton and Uranus.

Before I continue to the theory, it’s really important that you have all read the side story of Enel. The story is far from long with only about thirty pages, telling the story of what really happened to Enel after his fight with Luffy. I’m just going to put it here in case you lazy asses don’t feel like looking it up:

”Pluton and Pluto was two of several euphemistic names for Hades, described as the god most hateful to mortals. It is said that people prefer the name Plouton, "giver of wealth," because the name of Hades is fear-provoking.[...]”

Throughout the series, there has been given hints and information on Pluton and what it really is. As it has been claimed, Pluton is a ship of mass destruction, the nastiest monster in the history of ship making. But it has yet to appear in the series.

I believe the ship was originally made to bring the natives of the moon to the “blue planet”, not to be used as a weapon. As you can see on the picture above, the three characters on the wall painting are standing on something that looks like a ship of some sort.

Assuming they did use it to go down to the earth of OPverse, then where is it now. I was pondering this question and came up with a simple answer. I believe Raftel, the last island on the Grand Line, is Pluton.

The lines going from one island to another are the routes following the magnetic fields that almost every island has on the Grand Line. All except one. If you look closely on the map above, you can see that Raftel doesn’t have any magnetic field, or at least not a route to it.

Could this imply that Raftel is really not an island made out of earth and dirt, but a humongous ship that they built their civilization on top of? And what if they just built its destructive power later to protect themselves from the Government?

Uranus meaning "sky" or "heaven”, was the primal Greek god personifying the sky.In the series, nothing is currently known about Uranus, except for its name. Due to what God it’s named after, it can be assumed it has something to do with the sky or weather.

As long as we can remember, a specific type of weapon has been following our heroes. It is very well known to be in the hands of our very own heroine, Nami. Yes, I’m talking about the Clima Tact, the staff she is wearing.

What if the Clima Tact is just an insanely much weaker version of Uranus? If this is true, is it implying that Nami is the one going to use it when the time comes, if the time comes?
How to get to Raftel

“Roger offered Whitebeard the information on how to get to Raftel, but Whitebeard declined because of his own dreams of achieving a "family" of crew members instead of reaching One Piece. This also indicates that getting to the island is not as simple as sailing to the end of the Grand Line.”

Every time there’s been shown a panel of Raftel in both the manga and anime, there’s been some sort of mist around it. In the picture above, you can see the mist when the Roger Pirates are on their way to Raftel.

What if the mist isn’t there of natural causes? What if it was made to keep Raftel hidden from intruders or other dangers? If Uranus really is a weather staff, then it wouldn’t be too hard to make that kind of mist. And since there’s also no magnetic field on Raftel, it just adds up to how difficult it is to get there.

As Shiki implies here, Roger ‘knows the location of the weapon that can destroy the world’, which obviously means one of the ancient weapons. If the Roger Pirates found the Uranus, the weather staff, then there’s a chance they found a way to get rid of the mist, temporarily that is.
Thanks for taking your time to read it. If you have some more time to spare, tell me what you think and tell me what you think the ancient weapons really are. Cheers.

can't see enel's story
There's not much I can do about that. It could simply be something on your computer or maybe I did something wrong. Here's a youtube video with the story. Hope you don't mind the music:

Woah, one piece is more deep than what i thought it was, gosh i have fallen in love with one piece again. THANKS + REP
Glad you like it, and thanks for the reputation. Cheers.

As a lazy ass, I honestly love you. Thanks for posting the entire Enel cover story XD.
I did it just for you, Momma-san. :bouncy:

I always thought Uranus was what Dragon has used and people thought was a devil fruit. Here's my way of seeing it:
Pluton=ship of mass destruction=land,
Poseidon was the ability to summon sea kings which=water,
the power that dragon was shown to use looks strongly like controlling the weather so I believe that is Uranus which=air
Now I'm not current with the manga but did hear that it was stated that dragon has Uranus, if so, this only makes sense to me

There's has been given any information on Uranus and its whereabouts, except its name. There are many theories out there, and that Dragon has it or is it, is one of the dozens out there. It does make sense, but so does many other predictions out there.

I'm just hoping enel comes back
He probably will, and I pray to Goda that Enel will be descending fabolously down to earth like a god.

If enel came back, there are plenty of people who could deal with him. Luffy, any admiral, sengoku, hell I think even zoro could beat enel with Haki. Enel was intimidating until Haki was revealed

True, but don't forget that there's a huge chance that he borrowed the technology up there on the moon. Could be to develop some sort of weapon? Wouldn't surprise me if Oda pulled something like that on a character with a lot of space for development.

Nice work. Really plausible theory. I loved the way you related Nami's clima tact with Uranus, maybe Uranus has something to do with Weatheria island too? Just a thought.

We can only guess till Oda reveals it or gives us more hints. Nice thought though.

OT: very informative, Oda is Great when it comes to forshadowing..

Thank you, and I'm glad you like the thread.

Is this your own theory? I haven't read it yet. Doing it right now...
It is. Or at least I haven't seen anyone else post a theory like this. Enjoy the read.

I can't argue on the Uranus theory as being a sky god in Ancient Greek that it has a reference one way or the other to Nami's fighting style of using weather. Who knows? Nami can be figured in the end of the series as goddess of sky, the strongest perfect form of Nami.

Why not and she has an important role as a StrawHat member in the end of series against biggest enemy of the world and humanity. However, having the knowledge of the nature of the Ancient Weapons is not enough. It's been said that Pluton can be built. Franky asked Iceberg if he and Iceberg can build Pluton. It was sounds like something can easily be made like any ship be made.

But what I wanna know. For something dangerous to the world to be built as a weapon, and it brings great damage on country scale. Doesn't it need strong materials/substances so the weapon can be impregnable?

It even shakes World Government to be terrified of even mentioning their names.

It feels a bit off that a dangerous weapon like Pluton can be mass produced. If there are blueprints of something, then it is clear as sun that it can be produced more than once, and probably more than twice. I doubt it's actually as easy as that.

During the arc of Water Seven, we first found out what importance the Ancient Weapons had in the story. When Spandam found out that Tom the shipwright possibly had the blueprints to the ship, we contacted the Gorosei.

At the time Spandam was just the chief of CP5, an amateur group compared to CP9. So why would the Gorosei leave such a matter to someone like him? Why would they put the blueprints of a destructive weapon in the hands of a low ranked chief?

The whole weapon could be made out of Sea Stone, or maybe you need some kind of key to actually be able to use its power.
