~~~The ancient history of the Narutoworld: prologue~~~
Thousends of man and women were screaming...and with reason. The area where they stood was being annihilated by the strongest forces on earth.
Hundreds of lightning bolts struck the earth at the same time, but it wasn't normal lightning. Normally lightning travels in a turning and twisting way from the sky to the earth, but this lightning crashed into the earth in a perfect vertical line that were even wider than trees. It almost looked like that this lightning were pillars who supported the heavens itself, so that it can't fall on the earth.
Their force was terrifying, every time one of the lightning bolts struck the ground, a large chunk of earth was catapulted over twenty meters into the air. And at the spot where the earth came from, a crater stayed behind, but almost directly after the hit of the lightning large amounts of blistering hot lava was shot out of the crater, like it was a geyser and it reached hights even more astonishing than that of the chunks of earth. The earth that was hit by this lavageyser got molted and then it became absorbed by the lava.
The wind was raging so fast, that it was more like thousends of blades slashing wild in all directions, ripping everything apart. When these razor winds came across a chunk of earth, the earth got reduced to dust in seconds. The lava on the other hand got cooler and started to solidify, but then the lava cracked. It almost looked like it was raining, but this "rain" had half-molted rocks with the size of human fists as waterdrops who bombarded the earth.
Even the river was sucked into this vortex. The water collided with air, earth and lava. Because of this ice, mist and steam started to spread throughout the entire area. They even crashed into each other and formed in that way again water, but this water was pitch-black, like it came from the deepest abyss of the ocean.
Al these elements kept crashing and raging against each other and eventually pyroclastic clouds came into existance at the borders of the area and started to consume the forest.
But none of these things were as terrifying as the thunder. It was so loud, it felt like every bone in your body got splintert at the same time just by hearing it. It was like the sky got torn apart.
Everyone in the area got killed within minutes. When they were struck by lighting, they were blown to pieces. When they got hit by the air, they were cut to shreds. They got crushed, burned and slashed. No matter how they died, they didn't even notice that it just happend, so fast and painless was it. After this onslaught, there was not even dust left of their bones.
Eventurally after a while, in the middle of the vortex, I saw...him. He just stood there, continously staring forward. He was surrounded on all sides by a strange blue-white aura, that apparantly worked like a shield. Every time when rocks or lave came into contact with it, they got absorbed by the shield.
Suddently he raised slowly his right hand and gave it a little swing like he was trying to wave away a bug.
And then it happend. The shield start expanding rapidely in all directions. None of the elements: lightning, water, air, earth, fire, lave, ice...couldn't slow it down and they all got absorbed by the aura when they touched it.
The aura kept coming closer and closer, but none of us tried to escape because we all knew it was impossible. I just kept staring at it, for some reason it felt warming and comfortable, like it was a friend that you have known for so long that you even can't remember when you first met. When it was only inches away I stretched my hand out to touch it.

PS: I made this because I love history and I always was wondering what happend before the lifetime of Naruto and I'm a huge fan of Tolkien and his work, that's why I want to give it a try. This is not a story like most fanfiction, this is not ment for laughter (don't get me wrong, I love to laugh with these kind of stories), but just to fill in some gaps in the history of the Narutoworld.
I want to know if you want me to make other chapters of this story, if nobody is interested in them, I'm not going to waste my time with it.
