awaits Senpai in training grounds...
Alright, so we're here now.
If I recall it was Water you wanted, yes? Do you have any previous training in the element at all or is this right from the beginning?
Swimming counts, as does showering, jumping into a lake nude on a dare, and drinking water. :3
I'd like for you to tell me what you know of water, as well as the relationship Water holds with the other elements. How they interact with each other, how you'd use them in a combo and so on.
Water does indeed take a long time. I'd advise you to take a gander at the C-Rank Water jutsu we have here; that's what's going to take the longest since a lot of them are incredibly handy.
I was hoping you'd elaborate on these elemental relationships a little more, but thats alright you got the basics down.
Water is weak against Earth because of the structure Earth has. Because of it's hardened state, Water can't seem to push through it; it's the same with other physical structures like metal and so on. A B-Rank Water technique is equal to a C-Rank Earth technique.
Water however is strong against Fire because by the laws of nature Water douses it and tries to put the flames out. That's pretty self explanatory, but a B-Rank Water technique will collide on equal terms with an A-Rank Fire technique.
Water and Lightning hold a very unique relationship with each other, as Water acts as a conductor for the Lightning, and potentially making it stronger. If you were to use a Water technique which spreads to Long-range, the Lightning technique which hits the water will also travel to that length. In terms of strength, they're both equal to each other, though you can pull off some clever combinations using Water against Lightning.
Wind is on equal terms with Water, making the two colliding needing to be of equal ranking to do anything. What happens when you combine the two elements is that the Wind will generally serve to push a Water technique, increasing it's speed and force which is always nice.
If you don't have any questions, we'll move onto the next stage.
Alright, let's move on.
Just as a small disclaimer if you don't know already know but my style of training will work a little differently from standard training, and is somewhat made to emulate my own sensei, Zero Kelvin's style. Basically I'll take a more informative and theoretical approach to this rather than using a method where you perform techniques and explain through like that. It'll go over more stuff like your favourite techniques, and so forth so I can try to tailor the training to your needs rather than making it be generic like this message. >_<
If you understand, then we can move on.
(Suiton No Jutsu) - Water technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary/Attack/Defence
Range: Short-Mid
Damage Points:20
Description: Creates small waves of water, small blasts, and small shields of water.
Note: Doesn't require a water source but can be used to manipulate existing water.
Simple, but effective technique. You can use this in an infinite amount of ways, similar to the Earth variant of this technique. I'm sure you don't need much explanation on it, since it's rather simple but it's handy for tight situations where you can't weave hand seals or anything like that.
(Kirigakure No Jutsu) - Hidding in Mist Jutsu
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.
Mist Village's namesake technique, incredibly useful if you're either a member of that village like myself or have yourself a Byakugan. You're basically exuding a mist from all around you which hides you from almost anyone. Keep in mind that this also hinders your own senses, but people from the village can rely on their other senses such as hearing to find others. Those of the Inuzuka are also great at fighting in the Mist, due to their heightened senses of smell and hearing to rely on.
(Suiton: Mizu Kuri No Yaiba) - Water Style: Sword of Draining
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage Points: 20
Description: A technique that utilizes water to create a sword. The sword can be wielded in the normal fashion, allowing the ninja to cut and stab like with a normal blade.
Note: Doesn't require a water source.
Pretty much you're compressing water in your hand to create a standard katana, or any other sort of sword you desire. It's makeshift, but still tangible, you're better off using the real thing.
( Suiton: Junsai no Jutsu ) - Water Release: Water Shield Technique
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary, Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will manipulate their water chakra and releasing it from their arm which is held outwards infront of them and they then create a shield of water that can aide in defence against projectile weapons and close combat techniques.
Another simple technique, you're creating a shield from your arm which when compressed becomes thick enough to protect you from close-range techniques and projectiles. It wouldn't be too big, but it's a simple technique, works well against smallish fire techniques. Be careful with this if you know your opponent fancies using lightning.
Okay, so these are all of the D-Rank techniques we have, and they're all pretty useful no matter where you are with your level of roleplaying. What I would like for you to do is create a list where you rearrange all of these techniques in order of your most preferred to use in a battle, to your least preferred to use, along with why you chose this list.
