I believe they capable of seeing through genjutsu. In terms of insight, they are better than sharingan, but sharingan can duplicate jutsu, something the byakugan cannot

Byakugan was made out to be something great in the first half and in the second half of the series was made to be a little lower than crap on the bottom of a sharingan users shoe

they all have their own abilities, but as far as seeing through objects, byakugan surpass sharingan. when it comes to identifying justu and copying it, sharingan surpasses it. i cant really explain rinnengan. lol

Depends on the situation and what your skills are. If you can see the chakra network and have the ability to shut it down, then being able to copy pretty much any jutsu doesnt help if you can't use chakra(since you can't copy kekkai genkai). If you can't shut down the chakra network, then its useless.

in a filler episode in part 1 Hinata was able to see through genjutsu. judging from this and from that we don't know much about Byakugan, maybe we can say they can see through genjutsu. BUT if they not, still they can see that their own chakra being manipulated and brake the genjutsu by stopping their chakra flow or hurt themselves.

the byakugan is better than rinnegan and sharingan when it comes to chakra manipulation it can see the tenketsu which even the sharingan cant and when it comes to detecting genjutsu it surpass both sharingan and byakugan due to it capable of seeing the chakra network and any external chakra manipulating it

Guys kishi simply hasnt shown us much of the byukgan not thats it weaker by far than the sharingan. DOesnt mean in the future the byugan wont get attention like it did in part 1.

The byukgan with the basics we have seen as the potenial to be just as good as the rinnegan in the right hands. The byukgan unlike the other eyes is a true masters tools. IF your strong and u have this eye you will be a force to be reakoned with.

Hinata doesn't suck. She stood up to pain with tiger chakra hands while admitting her love to naruto. That was cool.

Anyways rinnegan is strongest. N if you think about it byakugan is better than a sharingan. But from what we've seen of byakugan I wouldn't say it's better than ms or ems.

sorry to break it to you but as a ninja and a character hinata sucks its only when shes about to die that she admits to loving naruto...yes that takes real courage(sarcasm)
